That story you mentioned is pretty cool/wierd

a bunch of hikers go missing for a month, and they find the bodies undressed all strung out across their camp. no signs of foul play or struggle or even wounds, it looked like they all just undressed went wanderin through the forest and dying from hypothermia

the radiation part is still a mystery. but you know those crazy ruskies and their cold war secrets.

Are we on the same Temp scale? -20 is rougly just above freezing is it not? -32F is 0C isnt it?

0 celsius is 32 fahrenheit. So negative 20 is 52 degrees below freezing. Ready estimate around that area is 2 degrees fahrenheit for every one celsius so Tolvo was out in about negative twenty something celsius too. Never been naked that cold but shorts and shirt to shovel for half an hour a few times. Barefoot a good deal and done polar bear runs in water that was like a slurpee. Scratched my leg up pretty good.

Not sure if it was -40 with wind chill but my shoveling story was -20 without that factored in and had some good gusts. Used to meditate in sub zero temperatures (never quite -20) on top of our shed in my martial arts heyday.

I've ran out shirtless in -12 Degrees Celsius before, and was then dared to make a snow angel. The stinging is what really does it, after you've come back inside it is pure hell.

Yeah, I would have.. kinda like the one that Emergence always created on the old forums though, it's always just been filled up with me chatting to whoever is online a lot at that time..
