If thats what I have to I guess I will, but I would like to know if there is a legit way of getting one item to another character. Thank you for your time.

You could ask someone to "mule" for you. That is, giving someone stuff on one charcter, switching to a different guy, and taking your stuff back. The two problems being that you have A. Trust them and that B. he might not be the right SL for both of your characters.
