So list the deities

So all of the miracles in the game have an associated deity. What re the deities?

If it's like that, then wouldn't Havel be considered a deity?

I don't think your interpretation of "deity" is accurate, for instance, the miracle Force isn't associated with anyone that I know of.

Anyway, all of the gods I've read of are Velka, Gwyndolin(not very godly), Gwynevere, Gwyn, Flan, and Fina. I'd argue that Gwyndolin, the Four Knights, Seath, and the Four Kings are demigods, while Nito has the powers of a god but isn't recognized as one.

The miracle of force is from catarina which i believe worship flann? i thought... I dunno though, how many definitive deities are there in this game?

And havel is a follower of gwyn, so the miracle is associated with gwyn, though developed and created by havel.

Again, we forget the big guy himself, Allfather Lloyd. Force is associated with the Way Of White, which follows the Allfather.

I see Nito(certainly not Eolan's cute avatar) as more of an incarnation of a sort of primal force, who chanced upon a lord soul which gave him godlike powers. Not quite one of the natural deities like those of Anor Londo. He still has his worship though, along with its two miracles.

There's also the "nameless blacksmith deity, who forged the weapons of other Gods."

I would consider beings like Havel, the Witches of Izalith, Carmina, Salaman, the four Knights of Gwyn, and maybe even Beatrice, more as just very powerful human-like beings. Some made more powerful by lord souls and lord soul fragments, of course. Most of them have also developed their own sort of magic too.

I think the DLC will clear up a lot of these lingering questions. For example, it wouldn't surprise me if the mages of old Oolacile were responsible for the TWoP miracle.

makes sense, the stone giant soldiers seem to be remnants from Oolacile and that magic is natural to them

Twop is from oolacile. Now the question is who would be oolacile's deity? Baring in mind they housed the divine ember...

I think we totally forgot Tolvo as a god of the Dark Souls world. How could we be so blind?

Tolvo is a new god, not recognised by the developers. Yet.

Oh... And 10 serpents.... Im starting to think the primordial serpents are multiple heads of the same beast. Arent they voiced by the same actor? Whats really cool is they look friendly till they all turn up and then its simply nightmarish. I think they started all of this. The crystal and the flame.


Also the wiki page for serpents needs updating. There are allot more than 2.

Just to bump this, at the end of the dark lord cinematic, are you walking towards the braziers? Or is it straight outside the kiln?

As far as I can recall, nearly everything becomes black so I don't know if you can tell if the bridge is repaired. I'm not sure you walk long enough to get to where it was broken.
