1 shot roll?

I just got 1 shotted by a roll in the forest. There wasn't even a swing before or after it. They just ran halfway up the stairs, turned around and rolled through me. Was this just lag or some glitch?

Anyone had something simmilar happen?

its possible they backstabed you and the lag was so bad(possibly a lag switch or software) it just didnt even do the backstab animation. i have been running into these people in burg and forest. if the connection seemed alright then i have no idea. im guessing it was some glitch/lag and they just roll bs with a hornets and rapier(or some other high crit dmg weapon)

I once lag backstabbed someone so bad, they went into a coffin position and I stabbed down. Has anyone had this happen before? I have no idea... I wish I could film myself playing!

I've also lag stabbed someone so bad that the damage of the first bs wasnt until I bsed him a second time. Just ask Federally.

It could have been CHSM. The orbs can be invisible to you if it was cast before you invaded.

^ that is very possible also. that used to happen a lot more it seems,but it still does happen. same with fire surge, that can tend to be invisible to the person on the receiving end.

Yeah it was someone with a catalyst and a moonlight great sword, so that makes sense. My health bar didn't come up on my screen or anything when I apparently got hit.

There are some pretty cool things that happen because of lag, once me and my opponent were throwing lightning, then I got backstabbed, but during the animation, they got lightning bolts in both hands and then stabbed me. I was more than happy to die that way lol
