If the leader was willing. Doesn't seem like a good idea in any exsisting covs though. In the LH, everyone knows how good everyone else is anyways, so the duel wouldn't do much. Just "formalise" the switch if we went that way. we don't however. (I vehemently argued against it during the covs creation)

whomever wins a covenant war might win something from a bet, but not the whole covenant. unless it was arranged as a fight to the death.

well i rmemeber on Diablo2 when i used to have clans on there if a player challenged the leader for ownership you had to accept, it was usually a best of 3 situation, just thought could it be done?

It could be done, but everyone has their own ideas on how things work so it would probably be unstructured to a fualt

This is the only problem I see with such a system, the guy who fights best doesn't necessarily organize and lead best (although your good at the speeches
) that said. If you build yourself up a covenant Ill be quite happy to challenge your authority and take it
