List of Good Animes!

I LIKED IT! I would rather have had that than take a break. You could have just NOT watched it. I do that all the time with naruto haha! Or did. I haven't watched in a while, like I said.

Dragon Ball GT.

The big problem with that is money, joe. Remember there is ALOT of background politics happening when making anime. One major thing is paying for the animators, which for something like bleach, is PRICEY if they just do it in one LONG run. So you'll have these slow episodes with no action and the characters playing happy grab-*** and reused scenes to save money.

If it was broken up into seasons, they would have more money and better quality, as well as a more tightly held story without any breakpoints.

That's why flashbacks and recaps are so common. Very little work required, voice over, and a black and white filter. Done.

I didn't think of this. *shrug* I enjoyed the way they did stuff, and I would still enjoy they way the WOULD do stuff if bleach wasn't canceled. *shrug* oh well.

They were bleeding money, joe. If they had continued they'd have lost so much more money.

I always like it when a series has a distinct end in mind, and when they aren't dragging things on. That's why Cowboy Bebop is one of my favorite Anime of all time.

Aye, I love cowboy bebop and samurai champloo.

Btw, I watched like 4 episodes of samurai champloo... and there seems to be no storyline... at all.

And of course the ever great, Sailor Moon.

EDIT: It is the story of those characters travelling together. That is the main plot, similar to Cowboy Bebop. The main plot is them travelling. Though at the end of each their is a major conflict they have to deal with.

Ahh. So I have to watch more than 4 episodes in order to see a real storyline. I may do that sometime, but I just haven't been in the mood for anime.

I don't blame you, I hate almost all of anime. Only a small percentage can I tolerate, and even less do I like.

The overarching story is the search for 'the samurai that smelled of sunflowers' but for the most part it's a bit episodic, like cowboy bebop.

Who was that one guy? A dutch Samurai or something, who got attracted to the "Actress?" I haven't seen it in a long time.

I never watched Cowboy Bebop. I've seen too many good westerns to watch an anime based off a cowboy. *shrug* I don't even want to try hahaha!

Uh...Let's just say its regarded as one of the greatest Anime of all time, it has universal acclaim. It is easy to get into, and it's not exactly a western per say. It is also a Noir, it's sort of a combination of things. Missing out on it I consider denying one's self pleasure.

Another series I really love, which I never actually find others who enjoy though, is Ghost in the Shell. That goes hand in hand with Deus Ex for me.

I like the movie, and stand alone complex. Can't really get into 2nd gig.

cowboy bebop is part noir, part space opera. It's a must watch.

Space? Me no do futuristic animes. Like, anything with a bunch of robots... NO.

I'm trying to remember, is there ever even a robot in Cowboy Bebop?

Bebop isn't exactly Sci-Fi. it isn't about super high tech devices and explanations of them, or really using them as plot points outside of a few minor things. It's about the people in it, not the devices. Ghost in the Shell, now that is full on Sci-Fi, a Cyberpunk. It's all about the tech.

No robots joe. It's strictly humans (and a genius dog). Trust me, THIS is a show that EVERYONE enjoys.
