Re: Lordran's Deliverance
It is important, but a claymore or dgm user with under 53 poise just isn't viable. I've tried. Its not terrible but its not competitive either.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Thats why it's suggested as opposed to mandatory; we don't want to screw up people's builds by throwing in some random requirement that destroys their poise. It is suggested nothing more. I will be trying it to see if I can make it work but if I cannot I shall simply use full Brass. Don't worry we considered practicality when we set this up or at least we tried to.

Viral we would definitely be interested in welcoming them warmly. Zack is the deciding voice but I think we can safely assume he would be interested as well. What did you have in mind?

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
By the way here is a reequiped version of my previously posted build:

I am open to opinions on changes I should make to gear or stats but overall I feel quite good about it.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
I'm really excited about the fast roll as I dislike how ninja flip looks. The health is slightly low but I think the mobility and potential damage output should compensate. At least this was the thought process as I made it.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
yeah i make most of my builds now without clown flip its much more fun and you loose a lil bit of invincy frame but you gain about half a second on attack speeed and if i want a bit more ooompf swap out a havels ring for RTST you have medium roll but you hurt much more!

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Hmm, I suppose you would be adverse to masks I take it?
another thing is If you were willing to drop one of the other spells (possibly great heal and pack a humanity stack instead) you could pop SLB in there in case you run into magic barrier Karmic justice fits thematically but in terms of actual combat is just so awful. especially with your vit.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Its not really a flip, its a handspring, and a handspring in 50 pounds of armor is much more easily conceivable than the summer sualt that is the fast roll. Physics disagrees with the "unrealistic" claim attached to the dwgr handspring.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Proposed changes:
removed great heal and dropped att by 2
switched blood shield for heater shield marginally more stable. reduces resistances (the only one you really need to worry about is poison bleed weapons will probably kill before they trigger.)
Put on mask of mother 4 soul levels freed up for pretty much the same HP
Switched around the armour set. unsure how much it ruins the aesthetic but neither of those sets are too hard to get and are both permitted by your covenant.
I removed karmic justice because it takes up the same slot as green blossom and added sunlight blade since it has no counter spell. feel free to replace with another spell or save 2 sl
Upped faith by 6 with left over soul levels.
Changed starting class to bandit which takes one point out of Int
overall it looks like this.
