Never had too many blood oranges, can't say I can notice the difference in flavour too much lol

A good one should be a lot more intense flavor with a grapefruit like note to it. Sweeter ones will taste a little like raspberry

Similar taste but sweet unless you have a less than stellar one. Nik Wallenda is about to finish his walk also. Pretty cool

I think I brought the gin up with my vacation posts recently but here's a better description:
The gin came from finger lakes distilling on Seneca lake. Great floral notes all around and smooth as all get out. My old favorite used to be Bombay sapphire gin which I would have described that way before I had this. I would rather not drink sapphire straight (but would) while the Seneca Drums is just as good straight as it is mixed. In honor of you whiskey I'll add that this place had amazing bourbon as well. Bourbon is my personal favorite in the whiskey chain with scotch in last place. Even after a day of wine drinking both liquors were the standouts.

Anybody alive out there?

That sounds delightful! Gin and tonic is my go to for summer drinks, so most any gin works, but when I'm having a martini* I usually use Hendrick's. This one sounds ever nicer. I'll have to search distribution and see if I can get it.


*glass of gin. No one needs vermouth.

Ugh. Gin makes me throw up, it's my arch-nemesis hard liquor. Just the smell of it turns my stomach upside-down.
