DARKWRAITH MULCTER
I always wanted to implement some forms of gameplay events for the community to play, however I never actually got a chance to actually make a gameplay event. It is based off of a Toxic Fun Time post I have made, if you have checked it out before (look at the signature, inside the folder). The PvP event may change in time, but it is based solely on skill; The majority of the skill of this event is to kill with the same form of equipment. Nothing less, nothing more. Sometimes that skill comparison will change due to events, such as numbers, or an introduction of another equipment set, in which skill factors may be switched towards another. The cosplayed characters are Darkwraiths and Red Sages, with Red Sages being very uncommon compared to Darkwraiths (due to Lore and the somewhat breaking of the rules of same equipment skill aspect). The rules will be stated below. This is not some arrogant form of 'honour', as Darkwraiths are not prioritized in honour, as it is relative to them, as any other being. Although they will be used, the Darkwraiths/Red Sages have the same stats, so that players can switch between them in order to play. This is a stationed cosplay event, in which 2 or more players can enjoy. It is welcome for all to join, so long as they follow the simple and easy rules, which are not hard to follow for a cosplay. There are general rules for players to follow in every game, and for the different gametypes (explained later), there are rules for players to follow as well.
General Rules
http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=1521528364861611 – Darkwraith Build
http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=4834912494185721 – Red Sage Build
(players must choose the same class, due to different classes have different self-defenses when naked compared to another class; Everyone being the same class will ensure equality in terms of equipment, EXCEPT for the one ring slot)
All must have the build of the character up above. The reason being, is that it defines the same level as one another, to make it even play. The rings are not selected, as it is specifically empty for players to later choose; except to that rule, is that one slot of rings must have the ring of favor for the darkwraith, and the Red Sage must have the bellowing dragoncrest ring. Here are the forms of rings you can wear:
Rings to Choose From
- Red Tearstone Ring
- Blue Tearstone Ring
- Resistant Bite Rings (All)
The tearstone rings are the only different that players can choose for equipment; As the Bite Rings would be used for later encounters of other areas of lethal conflict, the Tearstone Rings would be the only difference that players can choose for combat; to survive longer or to kill faster. As the Darkwraiths have 1800 hp, and Red Sages 1500, their health would have to be 360 or 200 to work, which puts the player in a dangerous level of death if they do not take the right path of survival; The tearstone rings and bite rings are designed to ensure that survival, however players can only choose one out of the five rings.
Spells Necessary:
- Vow of Silence (Darkwraith and Red Sages)
- Karmic Justice (Darkwraith and Red Sages)
- Gravelord Greatsword Dance (Darkwraith)
- Gravelord Sword Dance (Darkwraith)
- Great Heavy Soul Arrow (Red Sages)
- Remedy (Red Sages)
- Resist Curse (Red Sages)
The rules are simple to follow in terms of combat: There are no rules of combat. It can be set if all of the players agree upon one, however the game requires the player to be good at a play style they are comfortable with... in which not all are comfortable with. Such rules can only be established, if the whole of an event agree upon one.
For the event, it requires the players to all be Gravelords. That is correct, Gravelords. The reason is not majorly for lore, but for gameplay and events. That means, that Red Eye Orb will be unavaliable, so a few things will need to be collected to start.
Item Equipment Necessary:
- White Summon Soapstone
- Red Summon Soapstone
- Eye of Death
- Dried Finger
- Cracked Red Eye Orb
Item Equipment Optional:
- Black Firebomb
- Poison Dagger
- The Three Cure Mosses
- Lloyd's Talisman
- Alluring Skull
The items listed above are for the use of survival and to make enemies harder; Players should negotiate whether to use such items or not, as a form of ruling of combat. Resins and other forms of buffs and such would ruin the use of everyone having the same stats and such, unlike the use of the tearstones, bite rings, and the moss, which is an emergency survival tactic players can use; The use of weapons to kill would put people on their toes. Of course, negotiations of players within a game should first talk about the use of the Item Equipment first, before people use the optional ones. EVERYONE must have the Item Equipment necessary, however.
Once the equipment is set and done, then you are ready to go in terms of Mulcting. Remember, to get some friends and play, play, play!
Gameplay Types
The different game types can be viewed within the different folders. Each have their own names, gameplay rules, conditions, and set up. So, look up inside the folders, and see the different gametypes:
- Darkwraith Stalkers:
Players: 2-4
Player Types:
Main Host (Darkwraith)
Red Phantoms (Darkwraith)
Set-Up:
The host must be set with being infected by Gravelording. Later, when the BP Darkwraiths enter New Londo, the introduction of Darkwraith invaders with the Host summoning two Red Darkwraiths, and then a third player can invade with the use of the host using dried fingers and the Darkwraith using the cracked red eye orb. When all the players are set in the Gravelord Infected world, the game is set. After all players are set, the host starts at the tower between the two wooden bridges, while the three invaders spread out across the world of New Londo. When everyone is set in their places and ready, it begins.
Rules:- The Host tries to destroy all the enemies within the world of New Londo

- The Invaders try to get the last hit kill of the Host, while killing the others to claim the prize
- The host is tasked to kill all the enemies within the game, and wins if all are destroyed
- The game is Free for All, with no rules of combat unless the people agree upon one
Description:
The game is set for master vs all, and red phantoms vs other human darkwraiths. The game is meant to determine how long a host can survive with the odds against them. With them being infected with Red Phantom Darkwraiths and Black Phantom Darkwraiths, the numbers of the lone Darkwraith are stacked against him or her. Of course, the rules are that the Red Phantom Darkwraiths can kill each other, however the main goal is the host him or herself.
It is best to take turns in doing this; The use of rounds for how many times a person plays as host, and then the turn of host and red phantom alternates would be the best bet. This is a gametype that is meant to be a free for all of agony and challenge, where one Darkwraith must prove that he or she is far superior against the comrades of the dark.- The Host tries to destroy all the enemies within the world of New Londo
- Sealing of the Wraiths:
Players: 3-8
Player Types:
Main Host (Red Sage)
Red Phantoms (Darkwraith)
White Phantom (Red Sage)
Set-Up:
The set up is that the player can summon the white phantom and the red, and if there is a third player try to obtain with Dried Fingers and Cracked Eye Orb. Before it is done, the people try to Gravelord the host until he or she is plagued with Black Phantoms in his or her world. When the people are set in the master’s world, the Darkwraiths leave across the world of New Londo, while the Red Sages stay at the tower between the two wooden bridges.
Rules:- The Host tries to destroy all the enemies within the world of New Londo
- The Invaders are tasked to not only kill the host, but also other invaders as well
- The Invaders try to get the last hit kill of the Host, while killing the others to claim the prize
- The White Phantom is tasked to help the main host clear the area of all the enemies
- The host is tasked to kill all the enemies within the game, and wins if all are destroyed
- When Invaders are killed, they are allowed to invade VIA Cracked Eye Orbs
Description:
There can be two or one group of two sealers set together, in which case there are a total of 4 sealers available, whether the sealers are both together or are separated in a 2 and 2, 2 on 1 on 1, or all the sealers are left by themselves. The Darkwraith's task is to hunt down and kill as much of the sealers as they can, while the sealers do the same. However, as the sealers can not invade, they are at risk of being lead to their death by other enemies, however the use of one other sealer can change the difference as well.
This is a team game of sorts, where one side is Darkwraiths, and the opposing side is Red Sages. The ones who get the most kills, wins. Of course, it may be unfair to count it due to the Red Sages lack of armour and well established arms, however players can set a point system instead of kills. They can also do rounds, where the darkwraiths and sealers switch up play. Due to the two classes having the same stats, it only requires the switching of equipment.- The Host tries to destroy all the enemies within the world of New Londo
- Spirits of Strife:
Players: 2-5
Player Types:
Gravelording Host (Darkwraith)
Blue Phantoms (Darkwraith)
Red Phantom (Darkwraith)
Set-Up:
The Darkwraith Gravelord must infect the players successfully. When the other players see the Gravelord Sign, the Gravelord is tasked in running away to the main fighting area for thirty seconds, while the players rest at the tower between the two wooden bridges. If there is an invading player, a fifth player, he starts to try to invade after thirty seconds of the gravelording Darkwraith running away.
Rules:- The Host tries to survive as long as possible
- The Infected are tasked to try to find the Host within the entire map
- The Infected fight of Black Phantoms, while they try to find the Gravelord Sign
- They try to invade the Gravelord VIA Gravelord sign, and try to stop the infection
- If the host is killed, the game ends
- The Invader is able to try to kill the host, the spirits of vengeance, or the infected in their own worlds
- The White Phantom is tasked to help the main host clear the area of all the enemies
- There are no rules of combat, unless the group agrees upon one
- The invader tries to invade with cracked eye orbs
- The game is a free for all for the invader and gravelord, while the spirits of vengeance are allowed to work together in killing the host.
Description:
The gametype is search and destroy; The players try to find the gravelord that is infecting them, while the Gravelord Servant is trying to run away. The game ends once the Gravelord is defeated. As there is a Darkwraith, the Darkwraith may either choose to help neither or one of the two sides. While the infectees try to find the sign, they are attacked by Darkwraith Black Phantoms, ghosts, and normal Darkwraiths, and possibly even an invading Darkwraith.
The player can take turns in rounds or when the game ends. The infected must try to kill the host by finding the sign, and killing the host themself. They may either due it with numbers or by themselves. If they die, they have to search all over again.- The Host tries to survive as long as possible
- Humanity and Dominance:
Players: 2-16
Player Types:
Players (Darkwraith)
Set-Up:
The Players begin at the Tower between the two wooden bridges. They all should have a GOOD amount of Cracked Red Eye Orbs and Eyes of Death available.
Rules:- The Players try to get as much Humanity as possible from other players
- The Player who reaches the set amount of humanity that is agreed upon wins
- The Players tries to cause as much damage as possible to another
- The use of Eyes of Death are used to kill the host easier who they invade
- The Darkwraiths try to invade each other VIA Cracked Eye Orbs
- Darkwraiths who are invaded already have to defend their turf, and survive
- Darkwraiths are able to invade Gravelord infectors as Spirits of Vengeance
- There are no rules of Combat, unless the group agrees upon one
- If a Darkwraith loses a bloodstain, they stay with that lost
- The Darkwraiths can only use Humanity Dark Sprites to make themselves as Humans only
- Using Dark Sprites to get more loose humanity is against the rules
Description:
This is a game of collection; The Darkwraith who collects the most amount of humanity wins. Now, humanity is never lost of an invader, and a humanity is obtained if a human is victorious; Dark Hand can absorb humanity from foes, and they can collect them from defeating hosts.
The only rule, is that Dark Sprites in use for collection of humanity is NOT allowed. The use of it to turn human after losing human form is allowed, however. Players can set the maximum amount of humanity needed to end the game, and possibly a set amount of humanity players start with. For example, the maximum is 65, but all players start with 5. Many would say this will be easy, but it is not; It will take some time. It is recommended for those being invaded to use humanity to become human, instead of trying to find the bloodstain and coming back.
Players can gravelord to make killing hosts easier, and they are allowed to invade as a Gravelord Infectee (blue), although they will get an eye instead of humanity. They may also set rounds and/or a timer into the gametype.- The Players try to get as much Humanity as possible from other players
- Humanity Vagrant:
Players: 2-8
Player Types:
Players (Darkwraith)
Set-Up:
When prepared, the game can begin at the Tower between two bridges with all residing their.
Rules:- All must start at a set of loose humanity; players must decide how much each player has for loose humanity
- Players are not allowed to use solid humanity during process; They must retrieve their bloodstain when hollow
- Darkwraith must try to steal humanity from other players
- When a player has 0 humanity to absorb, and is hollow and can't be red, he is out
- Players must try to invade each other with red orbs, or to draw darkwraiths with either dried fingers or eye of death
- The last person with loose humanity left wins
- players can make a maximum mark for loose humanity to reach to win, or set a timer and see who can reach the most humanity
- If a player looses all their humanity as a hollow, it still coutns as a defeat; Players can set a One Try Stance, where the hollowed being can use one humanity spire, and if they don't get any more humanity and die again, they are out of the game. Exception of rule is A) lose all humanity by enemies before retrieved, and B) if the players establish this rule
- There are no rules of combat, unless the group agrees upon one
Description:
All players must have the same amount of loose humanity, and all must be ready to fight to the death; Whether it is the use of summoning VIA Red Soapstone, Drawing as a Gravelord, invading with Cracked Orbs, or just waiting for them to come, players must try to take as much humanity as possible.
Similar to Humanity and Dominance, however this one is less forgiving, and there is no option of redue once no humanity can be gained, as well as players are forced to set a rule of how much loose humanity players get at the start, which is optional for the other gametype.
Retrieving Humanity requires the death of players (except if the player invades as a blue against a Gravelord, which hinders humanity gain VIA kill) in order to gain humanity, OR they can take them by absorbing their humanity VIA Dark Hand. No Dark Spires are use able, and if the player runs out of humanity and can't be human from lack of loose humanity, he forfeits and is defeated, unable to do anything in the game. Players must try to gain as much humanity as possible other players, while keeping theirs secure.
Whatever rules of the end are established, whether it is timed, a maximum amount, or last man standing, one player must show his strength of bullying, and to steal and take the life source from others in order to become stronger.- All must start at a set of loose humanity; players must decide how much each player has for loose humanity
- Nito Envy:
Players: 2-8
Player Types:
Players (Darkwraith)
Set-Up:
The Players begin at the Tower between the two wooden bridges. They all should have a GOOD amount of Eyes of Death
Rules:- The hosts try to infect the other players with Gravelord Eyes of Death
- The Players try to Get as much Eyes as Possible from different Players
- The Player with the Most Eyes at a certain time, or reaches to a set Eye amount, wins There are no rules of combat, unless the group agrees upon it.
- They try to either invade the player VIA Gravelord sign, or try to bring them with the Eye of Death themselves
Description:
The gametype is similar to Humanity and Dominance, except for the fact that the game is based on Eyes instead of Humanity. The Players can use as MUCH Dark Spires as they want, so they are not set back by the amount of humanity they can get from solid forms.
The Eyes will duplicate easily, if the host kills more than one infectee; An eye is never lost, unless the host is killed by an NPC without an infectee in the world. Players can join so long as ONE person is actually infecting, and not everyone has lost all eyes (which counts as a defeat). The person who can get the most eyes as points, or has the most eyes when a timer set is 0, wins. There can be rounds as well, for more entertainment.- The hosts try to infect the other players with Gravelord Eyes of Death
- Lost of Medicine:
Players: 2-8
Player Types:
Players (Darkwraith)
Red Sage (Red Sage)
Set-Up:
One player must be selected to wear the Red Sage armour. Once done, the game can begin at the Tower between two bridges
Rules:- All Darkwraiths must try to kill the Red Sage
- The Red Sage must Gravelord, and the Darkwraiths are allowed to Gravelord, although not needed
- The Darkwraiths are tasked to kill the Red Sage, while the later tries to survive
- Darkwraiths are allowed to kill other Darkwraiths
- There are no rules of combat, unless the group agrees upon one
- the Red Sage will be invaded by the infected and cracked orbs
Description:
The game is survival; The player must learn to try to survive, and is a greater version, with the Red Sage tasked to try to survive an 'unflooded' New Londo. With him or her being alone, he or she is hunted and searched for by the Darkwraiths. The Red Sages are armed, as usual, with the blades of the cursed and great heavy soul arrows
The game is simple; Whoever can kill the Red Sage first, wins. The Red Sage must gravelord, so that more player can invade by finding the gravelord sign. The Darkwraiths must try to kill the Red Sage, or at least try to kill him or her with Black Phantoms, other enemies, or the environment in general. The Red Sage is not tasked in killing, just surviving. A time limit can be set, so that if the Red Sage survives long enough, they win. The time set should be over 5 minutes at least.
The game is set for one being to survive against all, and is worse than Darkwraith Stalker; The hunt is continuous, while the other gametype is set by the amount of enemies set in one run. The players can take turns in this, using rounds and possibly even a point system to challenge others in dominance of gameplay- All Darkwraiths must try to kill the Red Sage
All of the gameplay types stated, yet again, are based in New Londo only... for now. If high demand begins, and players begin to task themselves further into Darkwraith Mulcter, it may be moved to other locations. Such locations in mind include Blighttown, the Depths, Lost Izalith, and Sen's Fortress. However, it is right now set in New Londo.
I hope you enjoy the gametypes. The more people that join, the more that can play and this will grow with new maps and gametypes available, and possibly the inclusion of other classes and inventory... although they will be known a special. There is no list for joining, this is meant for all to come and take. Times can be established for all to see, and a list can be set to see the amount of players within the event set. There can be more than one event. To clarify now, the reason why the SL range is set to 180, is to get less interference from other players, as most are around 120 or lower at MOST. Interference from others is possible, however New Londo is unpopular in terms of PvP from others in most cases. If more players are in an event at the same time, the less intrusion there is.
For Communication, it is best to use skype, Xbox Live Chat, PS3 Text Chat, or other means of communication. When setting an event, prepare! That is it, here are the event lists avaliabel, and will look like this. Players must first comment and get together different individuals to establish the event in this thread or another.
