It's supposed to be equipped with everything you can get before going to Blightown without the Master Key. Fire weapons +5 from the Catacombs, armors +7 from large titanites dropped by Slimes at the Depths. FAP ring from killing Lautrect at Firelink. Pyro Flame +15 from hours of farming souls through coop. Laurentius basic pyro spells. Still undecided in Wolf or Dragoncrest ring. Comment.

sl 40 is too high for the depths me thinks, maybe sen's or anor?

Large titanite is only going to take your armor to +6. You'll need a titanite chunk for +7, which you might get from the crystal lizards. So two pieces of armor could be +7.

I'm not sure on the level. It seems a little high. I think I was about lvl 35 when I went through the depths with my first character.

Sens and the depths get great traffic at lvl 40. The catacombs less so.

I suggest just using great combustion.

Dont you get great combustion from the chaos witch trainer?

^Correct. You can only get fireball, fire orb, combustion, iron flesh and flash sweat before btwom.

Oh thanks for the fact kirk I wasn't sure about the armor. I don't know if I should be using gear from New Londo or the forest (past Artorias door). But to be an invader before Blightown legitimately is to kill 4 Kings with the help of phantoms and become a Darkwraith.

Yeah if I'm draining the water from New Londo.....and if I would have spent hours farming for Slabs and Chunks I can get armor +10 before Blightown. No twinkling titanite though.

four kings are easily killed,

Not at SL1 they aint (Putting out the damage was proving a struggle not because of the weapon but stamina concerns... going to try Combustion spam next time.)
