First Playthrough

You can watch a guy doing a blind playthrough here. He apparently played Demons Souls, so he has a head start, but the playthrough appears to be pretty genuinely blind.

I'm enjoying watching it, as it's taking me back to my first time, though I was more lost than he is and I used the guide.

I didn't have any internet OR any extra cash to buy a guide at the time Dark Souls came out. In fact, I had to trade in a few games just to get a copy of the game. It took me a while, but I achieved total victory in about 2-3 months. I am so happy I finished it without a guide/internet. It reminded me of the good ol days. So of course, it IS possible. O & S were the hardest for me on that playthrough. Took me like 5 days of dying over and over and over. I even killed the fatty first cause the npc always ended up on ornstein for some reason. Which also reminds me of how much I had to farm stupid humanity for that fight.....lol.

I did my first one without help and it took about 80 hours. Being a teen of course those 80 hours were in one week. About 10 of those were spent figuring out how to deal with the dang bed of chaos...

I found and joined our precious wiki after I had completed my first playthrough. Didn't want to spoil anything at first.
