Versatile Dexterity build

So, I made this thing last night, but haven't started to build him.
With that said, any advice would be great.
His armor is still undecided. He was given 28 strength to wield every dex weapon, and some big strength weapons. Hence "Versatile"
Fire tempest for burg.

Unless you like whips dont use one, they are not recommended.
if you are not casting go for one of the classes that start with 9/9 or 10/8 in the casting stats, its a waste of a point going wanderer. pyro would do. not really sure what to recommend its a fairly vanilla build built fairly well
(also you can use C/C weapons quite effectively since you have 42 str when 2h'ing)

hmm... nothing? That build is very good and you can use any dextery weapon effectively. Just be careful, you might get bored with that build very fast. Its so common out there. If like a chalenge, I recomend you to switch that shield for the whip, since the moveset is not so good, and you can parry with it.

Left hand the whip?
I like that idea. I can still slap people, and it has average speed.
And, Being able to use the Demon Great Machete on a dex build is so great.

It's a good build. Similar to the Jackal in my sig. Check it out for a list of weapons you could think about using.

As for the whip, I love it in the offhand. I don't use shields, so I have the whip there instead because it can parry and has a decent off-hand attack. Also, it can't be parried and causes bleed. Very underrated weapon. I'm sure it can be very good in the main-hand too, but I'm not familiar with its moveset that way. I recommend you swap to it when you're fighting an opponent who's parry-spamming, for sure.

I already have Almost Rants Leeroy a 120 STR beast so i wanted a hybrid dex build...cant use the mura but my SLB Uchi or anything for that matter seems to work

I also switch to the whip in the left hand after i buff for the reason others have stated its awesome...i just switch to crest grass if in need of a quick stamina regen!!
