I'm Finally thinking of Helping

Ok, so, obviously I can't just say "what can I do?" and you'll tell me. because not everyone can do stats and/or research. I know what I know and I'm interested in very specific parts of the game. So, I did take a look-see at the To Do list, and I didn't see Videos for different How To's.

For example, how to save Solaire. Or how to get every pyromancy in the game. Both of which I would love to make a video for. I would also do Sorcery and miracles, but I seriously would have to look them up. I don't know for sure how to get all the sorcery, and I have ZERO idea how to get all the miracles. But I probably could do a How-To video on all the pyromancies without even looking it up.

So, what do you guys think of the 2 video ideas? Also, I could totally do the "What Weapon Can You Wield With What Stats?" thing. I think that's the only tedious job I saw that I wanted to do on the to-do list Idk why, but I think it's because I've always wanted that on the wiki. I was like "gah! What CAN I use with my current build?!" And I'd just have to search through the weapons' page to see what I may or may not want/be able to use.

I can give you a pretty good explanation of where to get every spell in the game. If that's not your thing, just read the wiki entries for them.

Also, could you do a video on poise breakpoints (including the MLGS and its weirdness)?

I have a friend who did that next to me as we did a Co Op playthrough in the same room. So I kinda know how to do it. It'd just be way more tedious than pyromancy so I'd rather get Pyromancy done and Solaire finished, and see what's after that.

There have been a few general videos on the casting speed of a few spells with dexterity, but maybe a more in depth video showing off more sorcery and miracles than Pyromancy?

I could also let you in on some secret shortcuts in the forest, and you could showcase them in a video as sort of a tips N tricks for forest hunters.

Dex doesn't affect cast speed on miracles. Thank god, or WoG and TWoP would be absurd.

That's actually quite interesting... I'm going to attribute that to being really unique and strange, like the MLBH. I'll leave all of the sciences to my betters though.

Yeah. I don't really want to do any sciences. If I was really good at editing, and if I knew how to put all the boxes on the same screen, then maybe. But alas

I have no idea. So a video on just simply grabbing all the pyromancies would be nice and easy and quick for me. Well, maybe not QUICK. but it wouldn't be stressful. *shrug* maybe after pyromancy, I might do sorcery and miracles.

Miracles are by far the hardest. Lots of covenant commitment.

Right now, I'm just waiting for someone like Fex or Emergence or SOMEONE to give me the go-ahead. Plus, idk if they want me to put the video as Unlisted so the only way to watch it is by-link, and if there's no links, only the embed on the wiki, that'd be the only place it would exist.

No. I just thought they ACTUALLY read this section of the forums, considering it's the LEAST ACTIVE.

And it may be a good idea to separate all the spell stuff into different pages if they're going to have a video embedded into it. if they don't want to separate them, then they won't want to embed the video.

But, personally, when I was looking up stuff, I just wanted the pyromancy page. I just wanted the pyromancy, nothing else. I thought the other stuff was junk

Anyway, up to them. I'll just be making the video if they want me to. Or the Save Solaire guide. Or the "weapons you can wield with certain stats" thing.

They're busy people, and often they do their work on the forums behind the scenes so they don't see every thread, but messaging and admin is a sure way to bring it to their attention.

I don't understand what you mean.

The wiki has a to-do page that you can check and update with tasks. Alternatively, Ublug is our most active wiki editor and should have lots of ideas of things needing improvement.

I found out by using a Dex/Faith build who had Lightning Spears. I was oh **** they are faster than before! Also I think Dex affects WoG, I swear the Str/Faith builds WoGs are slower than those of a Dex/Faith.
