Need help with Resistance Build

Hi all,

I need some help with a resistance PVP build. Specifically with the stats; I am starting with as a Pyromancer and chose master key as my gift. This build will put my toon at Level 100, that gives me alot of PVP as a DarkWraith. How does this look? Do I need to pump more into resistance? I don't think pushing it to 20 or above is a good idea. If I go for PVP at 130 then I could have Resistance at 130 but that would leave my toon with little VIT or END.

LH1: Bloodshield +10
LH2: Pyromancer's Flame +5
RH1: Lifehunt Scythe +5
RH2: Queelag's Fury Sword +5 or Uchigatana +15

Spells: 5 slots total
Great Combustion
Acid Surge
Poison Mist
Toxic Mist
Power Within

Consumables:
Green Grass
Dung Pie
All three Resin's if using Uchigatana +15

i would not ever recommend points into resistance and the extra 10 points into dexterity are almost useless. i would leave dex at 40, resistance at 12 and put endurance and vitality to 40. also if you have toxic mist you might as well dump poison and acid. so you could drop your attunment for that. power within is also an odd spell. you need an unupraged pyromancy flame or it will drop your health really fast. but if its not upgraded your other pyromancies will suffer. so that has some give and take.

has any one made a 50+ res build? if so whats it like?

Someone (Vumsy, perhaps) once posted a link to empirical data showing that 50 resistance got you a grand total of something like 2 defense at SL120 with 99 humanity. In other words, that stat is beyond useless.

so... good for maneatermildred or dragon body builds?

good to know... explains why my one res character could take so many hits with thief armor...
