FoG build: NEW BUILD (experienced players please read/comment))

Ok so this is a different type of pyro dex build based around ring of fog. Now some serious players might think this ring isnt viable anymore and is really for tricks and pve. HOWEVER, i have discovered, or so i think, a way to effectively use the ring of FoG in 1v1 matches with no running/hiding.

The ring of FoG hides fist weapons***** This is VERY effective in pvp plus pursurers are a joke when wearing this ring

Yes you heard right. This is incredibly deadly when combined with 45dex, crown of dusk, and bellowing dragonescent ring; along with a pyro flame/dark hand in your left hand and weapon/pyro in your right.

They cant tell if you can shield/parry or if youll combust them. Plus you can 2hand the pyro flame in your right for an "invisible" sword that not only blocks but also looks like a katana xD

So what does everyone think of this pyro/dex FoG build? And id love to copywright this build for myself and Ignition but, well, i dont think i cand do that haha.

Edit: if you want to know stats or how this could possibly be effective in online pvp ive done plenty of field testing so just ask in a comment.

Well, uh, well....yes fog ring works against pursuers.

I think Hidden Weapon would serve the intended purposes much better.

I dodge most castings by instinct now because of their start up animations.

Blocking with the pyro hand is kind of a horrible idea, no offense.

I cant tell if this is an lol build. If it is then cool, but if you're thinking of using it seriously, then I would humbly recommend you reconsider some other options.

No you block with the dark hand. What i meant is you can 2habd tge oyro flame in your right hand and when they come up for a parry/brawl you combust them for a critical which is around 700dmg with the ring/armor i mentioned.

You start off with dark hand in left and pyro in right. They cant see the glowing red or black surronding it. So you get a free combystion. You then switch right hand to your weapon gor melee and be sure to let them know you have dark hand in left. Then switch left hand to pryo (they still think you have dark hand) boom another combustion. Then 2hand your wep for more melee and switch your right hand to pyro flame again but 2hand it this time so it looks like you have a weapon...boom another combustion.

Basically the build us actually viable just uses tricks/cleverness because they cant tell lwhats in your hands except for your weapon.

The build has around 1600hp, fast rolls, 36poise, and maxes out pyro dmg while being able to fallback on fex weapons (i prefer a katana) so yes very effective in pvp xD

Sorry for mispells...on my phone. Also when i say fist weapons are invisible i mean completely. You cant even see the darkhand shield when its activated.

I have a suggestion, unless you have already thought of it. The Thorn Leggings go completely invisible with the Ring of Fog on. I figure it fits the theme.

You guys should try the build out its actually very competitive.

Also if you did want to make this an "lol" build then equip a dragon bone fist and cast a buff on it; so your hands buffed and you can actually do dmg with your "fist" (all fist weapons with ring of fog look like a normal fist)

I personally made a comoetitive/fun build but di whatever with it

Well then lets get started!

1. What armor set will make us as transparent as possible?
2. What fist weapons will give us the highest damage output?
3. What ring will go in our second ring slot?
4. What is the best area (poor lighting) to invade with this build?

Hmmm well fist weapons plus buff is high dmg though id suggest pyro cause works the best. Also the invisible pyro flame and fist weapon in right hand will create even more confusion.

Obviously wed need 45 dex if we used pyro so no dragon bone fist...hmmm

3.if using pyromancy go for bellowing dragonescent ring. If not rofap, havels, , or dwgr for maneuverability in place if lowish hp
4. The whole games dark xD...maybe dark anor londo, painted workd, or catacombs

You're armor combo is not the best for being invisible. Lunar Fog did an entire thread about it, look for that. I think it was blue armors worked best.

She's the queen of assasin builds and deception.

Sorry, bud you asked for an experienced player to comment, and I am.

I think you're idea is creative and I commend you for thinking outide the box, but anyone with experience will not fall for the shinanigans and it will only work, imo, on the inexperienced.

Its basically a pyro dex build. And yes theyre are extremely effective. All i did was switch the rings which provided me with max pyro dmg(bellowing dragonescent) and confusion on wether i will parry or combust. If i didnt use the fog ring id just use the rofap ring for higher hp and better equipment.

So yes the build is very viable when combined with a decent dex wep like the chaos blade (what i use)

Also the armor getup on my dude is havels gaintlets and hollow soldier waistcloth. The dude me and mugen are making has armor thatll make legs invidible, give decent poise, and max out pyro dmg.

Saying the FoG build is only useful against the inexperienced is wrong because at its core its s pyro dex and everyone knows how well those work.

Also hidden body can be a waste of attunment and you have to equip a catalyst plus it has a time limit and doesnt hide fist weapons (i believe)

I'd say it's fine the way it is. You use it very well.

Thats not the build i use but its similiar just uses chaos blade instead so different endurance and vitality.

I've fought you a few times, but the first time we fought you were using the Fog ring, possibly testing it out. That was a while back, though. I've been facing the normal DEX/pyro recently.

Ah okay. Actually that night i believe i was using my quality build and you beat me so i got my pyrodex out for revenge xD. But yea thanks for backing me up haha. We should pvp some time because you were in my top 10 players list

@and nice build jansports though id switch around the hands of the pyro and catalyst because the pyro/dark hand combo wrecks. Also maybe 45dex for 25 faster casting spead...then again youll probably use dark bead haha
