Should I ask how you define "Lore"?

I think it comes down to whether you want immersion and roleplay or just playing a game. I wouldnt have much roleplay as a female char, but with a male char I'd have more of a "background" made up in my head.

I am the opposite. I'm a guy already. Why would I make a story about a guy? Girls are way more interesting! If I'm just playing through the game, I'd rather just be a guy because, well, he's me, ya know? haha! He has no other mind. it's my mind, playing a guy character.

I usually get mad when monsters or players hit or kill my girls. When I make one I begin to care more for her than when I make guys.

Nothing wrong with playing a male or female character! When I have the choice, I usually make female characters because - let's face it, you aren't given that opportunity in a lot of other games.

Also, everybody needs a trident because the silly dance you get to do is really awesome.

The only downside of a girl toon, is that crapy noise she makes when she's hit. I mean, come on! the guy doesn't scream at all, even when he dies (only by fall lol). The good thing about a girl toon (good for guys) is that, like some already said it before, you'll have to see a girl butt for a long time instead of a guy...

Dark Souls butts are not that interesting, in my opinion. If you want to see some serious butt, try Lollipop Chainsaw. There is an obscene amount of butt! Hahah! Though my favourite video game butt will always be Modern Warfare 2 - following closely behind Ghost in a wet suit. I don't even know why we are suddenly talking about butt.

I'm so jelly right now. This is the only rare drop in the game I've not gotten. I swear, it must be a bug in my game.

I got mine on my fifth channeler after I started farming. This made up for my two weeks of Pure Bladestone attempts I feel.

You are so lucky you were even able to get a pure bladestone in Demon's Soul. I think farming for upgrade materials is sooooo much easier in Dark Souls than it was in Demon's Souls, even with dark world tendency and the sword of searching.

Yeah, I found one of each color (three of the regular) in my first playthrough. My bladestone hunt was after I adamantly decided that Demon's Souls would be the first game I got Platinum in. I was off on leave with my daughter (just a few months old at the time) for a month and since babies sleep so much I figured I would get the plat, move on to Final Fantasy (which I should have avoided entirely) and that would be my time off. Nope. Two weeks of farming almost nonstop. Kill the skeleton, warp back, kill the skeleton, warp back........

Dark Souls? Drop a stone, move forward, drop a stone, move forward....hey a slab! And that's the hardest one.
