It is a freaking awesome place! It looks great, but I don't like how it plays. Too linear. I mean, I guess all places are kinda linear, but I loooove exploring! Lost Izalith and the Demon Ruins allow for much more exploration

I hate Lost Izalith. The framerate drops, dinosaur dudes and annoying lava. I agree on Anor Londo being a bit linear though, but it just looks so cool~

I never had any kind of framerate drop. I'm used to Blight. I get a bit annoyed there, but, really, I see no framerate drop in Izalith, at least compared to Blight. Blight town WOULD be in my top 3, if I didn't get extremely tired of it invading for The Followers... (Click the picture in my sig) we've since changed the requirements to level up in the covenant.. but, man. I really wish Servant had done it sooner haha!

Anyway, I love fighting the dinosaur guys! And even though there are only like 3 or 4 items in the lava at Lost Izalith, I LOOOVED going around and killing every single dinosaur legs and finding all the objects. Then I loooved exploring the city itself. Mmm that was fun.

I just love the way anor londo looks outside personally no real affection for the stage mechanically.

If I stay in Izalith , the painting , Btown or The Burg Arena for too long , I usually get a headache

The most , and probably the only stable framerate area's , are the Forest , Anor Londo , Duke's Archives and Crystal caves.

Those area's just appear real smooth and the textures are pleasent to watch

Damn soul burst aoe animation confused me for so so so long - weird but for
some reason i kept mixing up the start up animations of the attacks - i estimate about 40 attemtps til i cleared this boss
3. Losing 107k souls while trying to get back to my bloodstain in the kiln - i was devestated

3. Taurus Demon. I know, I know. I was a thief with no offensive or defensive capabilities and even less idea how to play the game. I was so happy when I beat that guy.

No need to be embarrased of the Taurus demon! I also diead a few times and didn't know about the plunging attack-trick so it was quite challenging the first time (I was also **** lvl thief). On the other hand I beat most bosses in the game on first try and never considered the bosses of the game to be actually THAT challenging on 1st try except for: O&S, Bed of Chaos, Gwyn, Dark Sun Gwyndolin and Taurus Demon.

@Juutas, yeah, same with Capra Demon first time thru. By that point you generally dont have a high enough level to handle decent armour, probably dont have many great spells/miracles etc, and if you picked anything other than the master key to start then you wouldnt have Havels ring either.
Thankfully i twigged early about the tower drop on the Taurus, but man, the Capra was tough first time for my puny miracle wielder

Weirdly I beat capra on first try eventhough it was terrifying as f-! I
still remember the panic and terror when I walked trhough that fog door
the first time and got raped 90% out of health...still somehow I managed
to finish the fight.

Sadly I was awash with an 'oh-sh!t oh sh!t oh sh!t oh sh!t' blind panic just after i entered the fog gate, also It took me a while to spot the stairs to the back left and get there without getting split in two!! I'm blind aswell as a nervous wreck!! haha

I guess thats one of the great things about DS, the experience is really varied for a lot of people, it really gets your pulse going too!!!

Only Dark Souls will you show you love in a form of putting you in a space that's the size of average kitchen with two bloodhungry dogs and a goat-headed demon
