Why wont you heal?

This happens quite a lot. I am invaded by someone, he/she bows and we duel. I am winning the fight and he/she iṣ down to his last 100/200 hp. I decide that i want to fight him/her again, so i drop a humanity, for him/her to heal with. But they wont pick it up, i gesture at it, run away so that they know i wont BS them while they pick it up etc. And even if they pick it up then they wont heal. Why? I want to continue fighting against them, and i am letting them know that they can heal. 99% of the time it ends with me just finishing them off.

They probably assumed the humanity was just you being nice. hard to convey that kind of message (we need a miming a chug emote lol )

I rather qucik switch to red tearstone and continue the duel, but dunno, most people outside the forums don't care about honor whatsoever and should heal up. Unless they're Japanese

Heal first, but out of reach for a bs. If my opponent heals, and i know i wont get there in time, i heal too.
That+ the humanity that you drop, should be enough of a hint.

I wouldn't heal because the fight is not over.. the fight only overs when someone dies..

No offense but I'm sure you understand that players can still have a good percentage of winning even with 1 HP left.

Picking up and healing would be admitting lost.

I don't even think of healing unless my opponent does. If you would have dropped the humanity if I was about dead, I would have assumed it was a gift to restore my humanity if I died.

But, if you popped a Humanity, I would have taken the hint and used myself.

Because the fight is not over yet, I've won A LOT of fights when I only have about five percent of my hp and it just makes it so much better. The other day on pw I was down to five percent agaisnt wyrm and he had almust full hp and I ended up winning.

I typically won't heal unless my opponent heals first, or I am fighting multiple opponents.

Also, if an invader drops something..... It's a trap.

If I see an item just laying there that shouldn't be there, it's a trap.

If I see a bush in Anor Londo, it's a trap.

Heck, I think this whole game is a trap and try to stay wary of anything and I still get ambushed.

What rant said, Its not over till the last hp is gone. Giving them a humanity and expecting them to heal is like saying you won when you havent. I have also won a lot of matches with not even any hp visible on my health bar.

Yes, my record is winning a 2v1 when I had 4 hp and both opponents were at or near full (it started as a 3v1). Many Shubs and Zulls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of a Sloar that day, I can tell you.

So far i haven`t lost a single time after i wanted them to heal. Mainly because i only do this to noobs.

Mines 6 hp but I killed all 3 with a tempest. Essentially, the fights not over until I die, no matter how badly you're beating me. I'm also a better fighter with under 1/3rd hp than I am normally, I always hold back until then. (Can't help it, I'm just too nice for my own good.)
