Pyro Build Help

So I decided to remake my pyro build. It was originally a str/vit build so I wanted that to stay. The weapon stays, I'm open to gear changes but aim interested in trying a build with less poise, although with said weapon Im not sure ho wthat will go. The stats Im a litte iffy on. Should I get more attunement and sacrific a bit of vit? And finally what spells should I pick? - http://tinyurl.com/6pj4baj

Careful of having too much attunement. If you have a variety of different spells, it will be tough to cycle through them during PvP. But, if you stack your spells (2 GCs for example), it is better. My favorite pyros are GC, GF, (+/- chaos FB to keep them on their toes), and Firesurge. Chaos Firewhip is good too. You could go 50 attunement (10 slots) and stack your pyros. A pure Pyro doesn't need much strength or endurance so you could put stats there.

what about this? http://tinyurl.com/7vg4w7t str doesn really matter much after you meet the requirements to one hand the DGH. poison mist is really good to hide what youre gonna cast or do next. also consider the DGM since its lighter and really awesome if i may so you can have a little more poise.

9 dex is no good for casting dough

all this pyro has to have 45 dex is bs, personally i dont think less than a sec of cast speed is gonna make a big difference if you got your timing right and know what youre doing.

Rant Ill see what the leggings look like with the robe. More sttunement seems good although with 8 fireballs Ill really have to practice free aiming. You're right about the str, and I realised I got amoughs hammers requirements wrong so Ill definetily drop the str to 46.

It's an interesting debate, is it worth investing all those levels in a stat that isn't going to help you much aside from quicker casting speeds, or is having 45 DEX an absolute must-have in order to use pyros effectively, for anything else is an invitation to get backstabbed?

you can get bs'd just as easily with 45 dex, its just a matter of preference, like some people are used to the reg parry of shields like the crest shield and im use to the fast parry of the heater shield.

I don't mind investing the 45 dex into my pyro builds because that little extra speed is useful and because i also use dex weapons anyways so i'm really just "wasting" 5 extra points.
