The Dubious Primordial Serpents (SPOILERS)

Now I've wondered this ever since the game came out, first off, who are frampt and kaathe? Where in the world did they come from? Who made them, and when? These questions can be even further spread out to all their "friends" in the dark lord ending. Does anyone have a clue whether or not they existed before the age of fire? We're they among the dragons? Maybe THEY were the ones who ruled the dragons in the age of ancients, and when the gods came into play, frampt fooled, yes fooled, Gwyndolin into their partnership (all while frampt was still working with kaathe) in order to draw the player in, and then have kaathe make the player curious about the truths behind gwyndolin's intentions so that the player could become the new dark puppet, and the serpents would rule again? Just speculation. If you guys could post your ideas and opinions, it would sure as hell make this game even MORE interesting! Thanks!
