Demon Titanite Weapons

I know you can farm this later in the game at Lost Izalith, but I was just wondering what everyone's favorite weapon is to upgrade using Demon Titanite. I'm a str/dex/end build and am wondering if it would be wise to focus upgrading the gravelord sword.

I prefer the Lifehunt Scythe myself, as far as weapons go. The majority of Demon Titanite stuff pales in comparison to +15 weapons. I would say that Greatshield of Artorias is by far the most useful Demon item, as it offers comparable stats to Havel's with much less requirements. I think the Gravelord Sword is pretty decent for getting through the game and I've seen some people using it in PVP at lower levels, so you're probably not wasting titanite if you choose to upgrade it.

It's a good shield, but it's defence stats aren't very good. It'd be a better idea to get stone greatshield, even though I believe artorias is the highest stability.





The gravelord sword is really good, but in pve it looses pretty quick as you progress through the game, but the lifehunt is really good, and has a B with dex. It's bleed it helpful as well against turtles and its speed is very good, using the 2h run attack and 2h r2 attack anyway, since I only use 2h

The Greatshield of Artorias is indeed good, though i find His sword to also be very good if you dedicate your build. (and it's got holy damage, see ya later catacombs!)

Though My 'favourite' at the moment is the Chaos Blade. It's not because it's good because it's not that amazing, has 450AR at +5, 40 dex and 10 humanity, but I just feel awesome swinging around a katana that drains my life away, adds extra dimension to fights, PvE especially.

If you are a very low level, queelag furysword can help you in PVE a lot, I defeated four kings with this weapon in my first playthrough very easily

Also no yesses for Dragonslayer spear?

It can be pretty good, but you need to devote your build, but can come out to be a fairly powerful weapon.

Much like the greatsword of artorias

yeah, but Dragonslayer Spear requires less broad stats, and focuses mainly on faith/dex (which im making soon! hmmm i might have found my backup weapon for after buff wears out )

though the weight of it sucks quite a lot and the fact you need 24 STR :/

one handed R2 is good for PVE

Thanks for the help guys! And yeah I just like the look of it so much I didn't want it to go to waste. I will definitely consider it as I'm only SL 52. Right now I'm running with a Divine Halberd +5, Titanite Catch Pole +5 (This thing freaking owns every boss I've come across) and an Iaito +10 (to bring it to +15 for PvP). I also really want to do the great shield of artorias too.

The shield is amazing for phisical defense, however if you are needing some elemental resistence I would go with the Havel, problem is that the havel requires a full STR build

I use heaps of boss weapons, but so far my best investment has got to be the Gravelord Sword, or Darkmoon Bow. they're whats getting me through NG+.

Can I ascend my +10 Knight Shield to the GS of Artorias at Andrei or do I have to use another blacksmith? Sorry dumb question

only giant blacksmith can create boss souls into weapons. in anor londo.

You have to use the Anor londo blacksmith to upgrade +10 items to boss items.

I know but in pvp i dont see players use them just a few.
I think its one of the best weapons in the game
