I have, but I was already in Anor Londo and didn't really fancy backtrekking just for the arrows. That's the first method I ever used to get past them.

Hey man, sorry, some stuff came up. Hopefully catch you next time you're on though! I also don't actually need any BK swords or anything; I've gotten extremely lucky on this playthrough, and every single BK I killed dropped its weapon.
