What an odd bug! Boss HP bar for my opponent!

So I just invaded someone, and their name was at the bottom of the screen with an HP bar, just like I was fighting a boss. I got the "You are invading a world" right as I walked through seaths fog gate, so I attribute it to that... but it was pretty funny, because the HP bar fully functioned.

The guy sent me a message asking if I was the boss of the forest... explaining that I had a boss HP bar... so I'm guessing the glitch happened to both of us, but it was rather awesome looking! I now want it as a feature.

Sounds a bit like the Old Monk fight in Demon's Souls.

That is a weird bug, sure wish it would happen to me, sounds fun.

Anyway, that sounds like a nice feature for the arena, don't you think? Would make the battle a little more epic.

And boss battle music would play depending on which area you were fighting in ;D

This a benign little bug, I wouldn't mind having it happen to me.

I'm just bumping one of my fonder memories on this game.

I still remember the one time you talked about fighting endless waves of enemies in the Abyss with a random. That one sounded like a really fun experience.

Oh wow I remember that guy here who was part of that hacker group who did that stuff... Wish I could do something like that

I definitely agree. I loved the modded hoard mode i got to play.... idk why the guy got banned :c

I've actually had this happen once before. It was in Demon Ruins (unfortunately) and as far as I can tell, it happens if you invade someone at the instant you both move through a fog gate that would bring up a health bar (i.e. no cutscene or nonaggression like Ceaseless Discharge).

Be cool if you could get the boss music to come along with it.

i really want a old monk bossfight in dark souls now.
i seriously think i might make a modded campaign for dark souls if i can figure it out... i'll do it as a project for school.
