I just started a cosplay the other day playing as Havel and it has been a lot of fun. I'm mixing in the mighty dragon weapons and the demon weapons as well just for some variety. I haven't had a lot of success in pvp with this build but it isn't quite done yet either, but the victories I have had in pvp have been much more satisfying then any others recently. The draw backs I've noticed with this build so far is the lack of being able to backstab oponents do to the slow running speed of the build, or this could be a breath of fresh air to be unable to rely on BS fishing. Although using havel's shield does invite BS fishing from your oponents. Have lots of blooming purple moss do to people trying to status effect you because of the shield. I haven't tried this build yet in much setup pvp so I haven't been able to figure out the logistics of making this build good for pvp. I think this build will be better served for griefing people but in a fun way and not low level in the burg or parish. I am thinking about starting a player based covenant around this build if anyone is interested in joining. I haven't checked to see if one exists already but I don't believe so. It is a refreshing feeling to learn the logistics of fat rolling again.

Re: Havel cosplay rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember someone a while back on this forum was talking about how fun it was to cosplay Havel with fat roll. I was skeptical back then but I suppose it could work fine. You can kick people who try to bs you and fight unlocked. Also, the Dragon Tooth is never really a powerful weapon imo, it's damage is a bit lacking for a great hammer. It does sound like fun to do a fat roll build, but I think it'll take a lot of skill to be useful in PvP.

I was actually doing this earlier today lol. Its fun, and it can be really powerful as long as you remember to always block and never roll. Also remember that the shield has such high blocks that you can back yourself into a corner and you become invincible. And finally dont forget the shields r2, nothing says indestructible like it.

As long as it's in good repair of course lol. It wouldn't be very good to break your shield in the middle of a fight.

Yes havel is a rock and the fatroll can be good to throw your enemies timing off. If you enjoy havel think about a fatty cosplay, no shield means you need to master the fatroll hammer pound.

Re: Havel cosplay rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
Very true, set up duels will not be the strength of this build, but it could be good for griefing but not low level griefing as that is not my idea of enjoyment to grief the new players that could one day help our community to grow but not if they rage quit in the first or second level due to scum griefers.
Anyways I'm rambling. Yes the dragon tooth is out classed by other great hammers but not having to repair the weapon isn't a terrible trade off, and that's why I'm mixing in the Demon's hammer, machete, and axe since I had to go to 50 strength just to one hand the dragon weapons. And the dragon weapons are also out classed by other strength weapons but most of those include the Demon weapons.

There's no such thing as a fat roll, people.
It's called a "tactical fall". Or "tactical shoulder dislocation", depending on the angle.

Lol, i play with havels armor and i have become better and better with it in pvp. I move slow compared to others but i've gotten the hand of it ^^. Its fun seeing people try to take advantage and end up dieing in the end.

I'm really glad this got bumped, I noticed something in that video that's actually incredible while he was fighting that dead angle WoG guy. He turned around to block the dead angle! You can actually block it when they turn around by turning around yourself! I'd like to test this but it looks like that's the case from the video.

2:45 For Ghadis' point. Still, if you could predict a deadangle, chances are you would rather roll past it than actually turn your back to them, or else you will get lag BSed
