What happened to the Burg?

So, in my last ten matches, I've only fought one legitimate dueler. 8 of them were dragon glitching, sitting on the dark spirit spawn point using the torso stone glitch, and one guy was spamming divine blessings so I had to chain stab him. One of the dragon guys was even hiding, waiting for me to pass so that he could backstab me with the bow glitch.

Have people really fallen so low?

Its going to happen to the parish soon enough. the Burg is still great if your hosting. Be the one to pick up as many signs as you can for those that want good duels.

There are going to be glitchers in every area of the game. The only thing you can do is deal with it and hopefully things get better. If not then you can try other areas in the game and see if you have better luck.

Ya I dunno what's up with the Burg...lately it has turned into an uncertain place for the longest time it was always duelers...now I keep running in the the same thing...I prob even ran into the same dragon using fog ring and bow glitch and hiding in the building left of the fire waiting to OHKO you when you go looking...he got me once but then I got him back hahahaha....I just don't get how these people think thats fun?

I actually laughed the first time I got dragon glitched by the spawn bridge in the painted world. Didn't know it was a glitch, just thought it was an experienced troll.

As for the burg, I still find mostly duelists. Rarely do I bump into someone dishonorable.

idk. yeah its kind of lame, but you don't really lose anything aside from 5 minutes or less. or a humanity if you're the host. big deal you can have like 600 humanity at any point in time pushing some buttons.

but you could be spending that time insulting their mother in private messages tho, so its not really a waste of time after all.

just keep playing and you'll find some good matches.

I've been hosting at lvl 12 in the upper burg and have had just the opposite experience. Most of the invaders have been fair fights in the last couple of weeks... (except, of course, for the elemental weapons, but I just plan for it and my humanity level is now high enough to give me extra protection.)...I even faced two different dragon guys and neither glitched, even when they were down to just a slip of health. I can't say much about the invading side as I have run out of cracked orbs, but when I did, I didn't face anything but duelers or co-ops going for the boss.

any1 cares to explain what those bow and torso glitches are?
havent been around for months and i wanna be prepared for the weekend when i get my ps3 back

Meh I mainly pvp in the burg and 8/10 matches are duelers for me. Some of them can be just gankers or some bull

I met one DB popper today, but except for him the burgs still a very good PvP spot.

Had some guy use like 8 divine blessings on me a couple days ago (guy wad horrible). Seen a lot more flasking too but almost 0 dtagons. This is PSN btw.

I had summoned someone who did a emit force glitch. The ball stayed in front on him. It was funny because after he did that he stayed there with the ball spamming the praise the sun gesture. So I didn't take any risk and proceed to the chain bs. He also had DBs, and after lots of DB healings between him and me he finally won the fight. This happened at the Burg ok.

I've always fought duelers in the Burg for the longest time, but the past couple days I've seen a major increase in glitchers, gankers, and DB poppers. Atleast half of my matches there are those types of people now.

I think people are just getting tired of up-holding honor, and being a duelist. There are bad apples in every bunch and once someone runs into them enough they begin to question why they are doing it the hard way when there is a much easier way. So they change their ways most likely for revenge on those bad apples, but due to randomized world selection they don't encounter the ones they seek vengenance on till much later.

So in this time they come up against other people, and find they are winning alot more = more satisfaction. They may not stop doing these cheap things either because they're winning right? Thus the bad apples spread and so on and so forth. Either that or these glitchers, gankers, and DB poppers have moved to the Burg in order to ruin the honorable people's lives.
