Fight Club: Roleplay (PS3) (360)

Hello so Heroez had a pretty good idea for a fight club. Since I love roleplaying and acting like the npcs and i'm pretty sure many others do too. I think we should form a Fight Club based around roleplaying. Most NPCs in the game have weaknesses, so if we are all being NPCs no one will be too overpowered (in my opinion).












Fight Club: Roleplay will be based around acting as your beloved NPCs. The Fight club will meet up any many various locations such as The Cactacombs, Blighttown, Moonpit, Ceaseless Discharge, and many more. There will be a set time for major duels to happen but you will be able to join the chat anytime and ask if anyone wants to duel. The Fighht Club will most likely take place around 8 - 12 pm EST.

• No BS fishing - When you circle around someone constantly trying to get a bs
  
• No Parry spamming - When you constantly try parrying your opponent
  
• No using any glitches while fighting
  
• No hatemail/replying to it
  
• No spell spamming
  
• Try to be fair and have fun!
  

There will be certain ring restrictions that are quite obvious. Also I want to know what you guys think about letting people use the items that NPCs sell. To me it seems that most of the NPCs that sell items are really underpowered lol.

• Havel's Ring - Havel (debateable I have not yet decided on this, I need help)

• Use armor your NPC uses
  
• Use spells your NPC uses
  
• Use rings your NPC uses (if there's a extra slot use whatever)
  
• Use gestures your NPC uses (if they don't give you one/use one use bow)
  
• Try your best to stay in character

This is how you join. You have to be SL120 this is where most pvp takes place and it's where most players feel comfortable at. You have to post in this thread requesting to join with your PSN/GT and NPC you want to be. Once you meet the requirements PM me about joining and I or Heroez will add you to the chat.











If you wish, we do need someone to host the Xbox360 for the 360 dark souls players. The actual dueling will start around August 15th, to give people time to create their character.

I like the idea very much, but people might have different views about parry spamming and backstab fishing so it may be quite hard to define. For example, backstab fishing is annoying as hell, but if my opponent makes the same mistakes over and over again and leaves himself open, i do backstab him. But I still don't consider it fishing.

And parry spamming is very easy to punish if backstabs are allowed so i'm not sure is that rule necessary.

I'll define what I believe is backstab fishing and parry spamming in the op. Thank you for your feedback.

dwgr should be banned unless you are the ninja in the protect shiva. i have my leeroy ready, sl 120.

Hmm I personally like this idea but it might make others a tad angry. But the bodyguard does have very light armor on anyways...hmmm ok yeah, DWGR is banned cept for bodyguard. Reason being for RP reasons and so some of the NPCs stand a chance.

Yeah fast roll can be good but I find it weak against Murakumos -.- lol

This looks fun! Also, can we cosplay as regular monsters, such as balder knights or undead soldiers? My high sl toon cosplays as a balder knight, and I have a lot of fun with it. I'd be willing to make a 120 build if that's possible. Also, what rings would that use?

Hmm thunk since they are counted as NPCs I'd say yes you can and I'd go with like RoFap and maybe cloranthy or something haha.

A lot of NPCs fat roll. Are you going to encourage people roll like their NPC does?
Ornstein is super fast, and my cosplay of him uses the DWGR to match that, would I have to take it off?

Hmm this is a good question since I have never seen ornstein roll and he does dash extremely fast..hmmm. I'd like other peoples opinions on this first before I decide.

Edit: Also it will be quite impossible for someone to fat roll if they're wearing light armor so if they can I'd prefer them to roll like their NPC but if they can't just pull off what you can.

Well, this thing is pretty much going on until everyone decides to quit soooo lol You should be able to make it some time in the next few months lol. It's not a tournament it's a FC it doesn't end until the players decide to end it.

Sadly yes ^.^ Since not everyone wouldn't know what characters you are and I don't want to involve other things into a Dark Souls roleplay experience

If the havel's ring makes you fast roll while your a balder knight i say no. But with regular undead knights i think they can fast roll. Just my opinion.

I'm not into joining Covs but this is kinda cool. I might be interested in a Prince Ricard one
