I seem to remember someone pointing out how badly NZ was doing in the Olympics......

I'm British so I know what it feels like to be on the losing side when it comes to the Olympic Games but look at us now! Team GB is awesome! Moral of this story is to take a leaf out of the Dark Souls book and NEVER GIVE UP!

Sadly the aussies got 2 golds today.... Or will have them when the sailing is done, but with a few races left they cant lose the gold.

To be honest, unless you're the US or China you have very little to celebrate.

GB is doing pretty well, but it's also getting that host nation boost, I fully expect Britain's numbers to take a hit in Rio 2016.

I don't know much about the olympics, but GB seemed to be doing quite well in men's foil fencing (since that's all I'm interested in)

I feel like playing the team America song.

To be honest, I've been only following Phelps, Bolt and the Korean archery team.

I love how any Argentinian athletes that win a medal have to pay a monetary tax once they come back to the country.

No, I could care less about anything that's going on really. I only watched the GB/Egypt fencing highlights online. I have yet to even turn on the olympics and I most likely won't the entire time that it's going. I can't even tell you which countries are doing well

My favourite part is the opening, to be honest. I love to see the parade of banners and athletes.
