If she isn't, then you deal with it man. Trust me, being calm and collected will make it alright. But if you seem desperate if she says no that would be bad. Just be cool about it, hopefully she'll say yes but if she doesn't, don't over react.

Spur, you are in her class! You need to be a little more creative. Ask her if you can borrow her notes, borrow a pen, borrow an eraser, borrow a piece of paper, whatever! If you sit beside her, tell her you forgot your textbook and ask if you could share hers. Hell, even if you don't sit beside her, ask her to borrow her textbook. That's a good start. Once you return her stuff, say thank you and start a conversation. Voila!
