I say that Artorias is way more badass, but I will wait until the DLC to make an official claim. For some reason... I'm biased that the Wolf is better! Why is that?

Having seen brief glimpses of his fight on youtube, I'm gonna say Artorias. Since all other factors are basically equal (armor aesthetics, and weapon choice, etc), the violent and unrelenting rage shown by Artorias beats out anything Ornstein does in his fight in terms of badassery

Because she( I imagine a she) is represented differently compare to all of the other knights.
Also she is an assassin I imagine due to the effects of the Hornet Ring and Im partial to assassins over honourable knights.
Plus the hornet is a creature I can associate with more so that a wolf, a lion, or a Hawk.

If Smough was never implemented into the game and Ornstein was a solo boss, and much more difficult, then he would be much more popular than he is now.

Definitely Artorias. I mean, has anyone seen how he moves in that gamespot video? Makes Orstein looks like a joke to my eyes.

Well, I think they are the exact opposite of each other:
Artorias: Night, Darkness, Sword, Wolf, Magic...
Ornstein: Day, Sunlight, Spear, Lion, Miracles...
I vote for Artorias, but just personal opinion. Imagine if they put Artie in Smough place, I would pretty much rage quit Anor Londo.

I wonder what would happen if the Four Knights were to show up together prior to the battle with Gwyn? Ornstein and Artorias would rush in from left and right, Gough would bombard the player with a rain of Dragonslayer arrows, and Ciaran would sneak around, waiting to backstab... I think Ornestein's backstory is pretty interesting.

I'm going to have to say Artorias as well. He uses greatswords, his design, and backstory is pretty solid and cool.
I must say this the design of a once proud knight that has fallen to darkness and rage is truly captured by Artorias. His only objective is to kill what stands in his way and he doesn't even sound human anymore.

So here is a question (Not on my computer, can't download it).
Artorias isn't a "misunderstood villian", but rather "Devil Incarnate", is he? His will was unbendable, so it would make more sense if he is just evil, and not someone you could really feel sorry for.

I don't know how to feel bout this. I honor all 4 knights when I can (My forest hunter menu swaps to a piece of each there gear for Gwyn's sake)
I don't like Swords too much. And the DSS is pretty awesome, both design and moveset. His armor is also pretty cool, and represents his pride and respect as a knight.
But Artorias' fighting style is beastly, and he may have a pretty tragic backstory, depending on how you look at it. And his armor is just as badass.

Either way, I find it rather amusing that a man of unbendable will would be broken in by Dark. That said, it doesn't change how badass of a boss he is.
