[PvP] Xanthous Week Announcement [Cosplay]

Alright, I was waiting for the 20th vote forever, so I'm assuming only 20 people will be taking part this time? With a few more votes, Xanthous wins this time. Let's make this a week-long, so we have more time.

Date: 17th - 26th February

Location: Anywhere you like.

Rules:

- Must wear full Xanthous set.

- Must have good manners. Always bow, never taunt.

- Must not gang up.

- Must not spam spells.

- Must not heal unless opponent does.

- Preferably no Black Knight Great Axe.

I posted this in the japanese wiki, and we're getting response! Have fun people!

What else are they supposed to use if they are a faith or pyro spell caster? That's like saying 'no stunlocks' to a Str build.

Consecutive as in without even walking. Great combustion, great combustion, great combustion, etc. People generally see repetitive casting as brainless. Unless more people are against this rule, I strongly discourage spamming.

I see alot of stun locking ahead xanthous+no poise=stun lock thats the only problem

I've finally gotten the King to Invade, and just in time it would seem. Do we get any extra points for using his Whip and spells as well haha?

I'd love to give everyone rewards for participating but I got nothing worth giving... Unless you guys are interested in getting green leaves or anything you can buy/farm yourself hahaha. Chunks maybe? Although most of you might prefer to remain anonymous.

I will be there. My 2 cents is that the Xanthous sets almost complete lack of fire resistance should even out the lack of poise and backstab factor for skilled pyromancers with a good fire weapon/pyro attack.....burn the backstabbers!!!

I tried today. Full Xanthous, pyro (I use it anyway) and my favourite Iaito+15.

First problem I notice: the friggin head peice is blocking my sight. Second is poise, so I used wolf ring. Had some fun, had some reactions, been farmed a couple of times, won a few decent matches with great fireball and fire storm.

Good fun.

Had some good games at Depths and Painted World. Duels and invasions. The terrain and lack of open space make great fireballs and fire storm even more effective. Killed a farmer or two, and toasted 2 phantoms with fire storm while host goes thru Priscilla fog gate.

Interestingly enough, I'm actually learning how to use pyromancies much better, as I need to rely on it now.

I managed to kill a guy with just the notched whip since I accidentally removed my Pyromancies when I meant to change up what was attuned. Both a blunder and an amazing fight. Other than that though I've really been having issues just invading.

I strongly reccomend proper weapons.

Never! Notched in one hand and Flames in the other. I'm very stubborn about accuracy, regardless of the ridiculous amount of deaths it will bring to me.

not sure I'll be doing the same pyro flame and chaos blade sounds like fun to me

I had a few fights where the opponent was in full havels, havel's sheild, fat roll, but a different weapon. If those guys used the dragontooth, I would switch to a notched whip. Pyromancies work best against them anyway

Can't believe I didn't think of this before. Full dragonoid should have been in the vote.
