Public opinion for a build

Hey guys, so I've been working on this build for a while(collecting these freakin' ears takes forever) and I wanted to see what people thought.

I love the way Vow of Silence looks, and sounds, and I like that I rarely see it used in PVP. Basically I buff my sword and then cast VoS, forcing my opponent to duke it out with me mano-a-mano for most of DMB's duration. I hate chasing people in a rush with DMB, only to be repelled by great combustions and fireballs, so VoS is mostly for this.

I do realize that in a duel situation, I might be removing my opponents' chance to use their prep-buff and am on the fence on whether this is cheap or not. It's certainly the point of VoS, which takes 2 slots or 4 levels of attunement, so I think it's alright. So, what do you guys think?

Why the DWGR?

I like the mobility, but I can also swap it with the hornet's ring. Although, since they're both getting nerfed, I might use cloranthy.

IMO, the SLB is better than DMB, even at +3. There isn't a huge difference in AR, but you don't have the restrictions of being in a covenant either. Plus, there is some argument about the lightning damage being better than the magic damage (more people have higher magic resistances than lightning ones).

Yeah, that's true but I REALLY love the way DMB looks; it's so bah-dass. I do love invading as a darkwraith though, much more traffic than DMs.
