Favourite weapon?

It's a testament to how good Dark Souls is that there are so many different favorite weapons.

Mine? Gargoyle's Halberd all the way. A Chaos version was the first weapon I got consistent wins with in PvP, and I've used a regular version on and off, more than almost any other weapon but the Murakumo. It has great damage, a cool moveset, stunlock potential, and a sweet look. Just love the weapon.

Surprised no one has mentioned Barbed Straight Sword. Bleed, low requirements and pretty quick slashing to get that bleed moving. Only single flaw is it doesn't have a forward stab like the Longsword.

Also, Love me some cheap little spears. I always carry a bunch with different mods on them.

I have the most fun using the Dragonslayer Greatbow, hands-down my favorite weapon. Composite/Pharis bows are right up there too. I just like ranged weapons lol.

im a huge fan of the Balder myself. such a greatly balanced weapon. if not that then the Estoc followed by the SKSS. i feel like that ones underated especially since it buffable now.

The silver knight ss is pretty weak for its weight and speed compared to the other straight swords, but i found lots of people have trouble parrying the R2. I almost never get parried using that, and people just keep trying. I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but it almost seems as if it has a higher poise break then the other straight swords. Its certainly a cool weapon, i use it when im trying to challenge myself.

i love it. the damage may not be too ideal for its weight but the range on it is wonderful to me. plus it seems like it has more of an advance on its R1 attack. im not sure yet but ill probably come up with a build for it soon.

The Great Scythe. I just started using it today and it kicks butt! Also I like the BSS!

i retract what i say about the SKSS i gotta replace it with the scythe. that thing looks sooo sick and ive really enjoyed using it with my build. again the Scythe not the Great Scythe

I haven't been able to put down my Gargoyle's halberd, I just feel naked without it, close second is my +14 shotel, who needs damage when I can make a greatshield useless, my heart broke the first time someone parried its heavy atk
