Just wondering if the amount in frames you can not take damage in is significant enough to make a difference, because the time it takes to roll is about the same, DWGR being a little faster. Thanks.

Does fast roll have more or less invincibility frames than DWGR?

DWGR has 15 frames of invincibility (half a second), Fast Rolling has 10 frames I think. Do we have any solid data on those frames?

Not sure, perhaps someone could get some of that data on the pc.

Vageta got some. DWGR has 2 more frames than fast roll (15 vs 13).

Does DWGR's kick in faster? it feels like it gets a good few more at the start to me.

Yeah, but the question is where's the break in iframes between rolls? You can sit in a corner and spam consecutive rolls with the DWGR and take no damage. So I have to assume there's no break in iframes. I don't think you can do that with fastroll. So really, even if the DWGR has only two more frames, there's no break between rolls, so it's actually 15 frames times the number of rolls you've got the stam for, which gives you the total number of consecutive iframes.

It feels like DWGR has a little more frames, but it's just a shorter animation to begin with.

Pretty sure the DWGR flip is longer. I'll find vageta's thread.
