Ok, That now makes sense. Skype while death matching or team fighting would be great fun.

Glutebrah, I remember some awesome fights with you in FC a while back. Hopefully we'll get some more fights in before the end. I really hope we can get this organised as well. I'll say again, if it's in the weekend then I'll be there. I'll be watching this thread in the hopes that it will happen.

Have I run into you before hylian? I recall a name like that from the DS mass invasion a couple of weekends ago- and I may have been quite a **** as I can be when invading for points. My PSN is the same as on these forums.

The DS are the Darkstalkers- our forum's resident Darkwraith user covenant. I somehow remembered invading a "hylian(number)" during an event when we Darkstalkers were competing for kills, and thought that I might have played dirty to win.

I guess there would be no problem doing it, if we kept it purely melee. No magic,pyro, anything effected by the graphics bug.

Chance. There aren't really that many people in the arena at any given time, so I tend to get matched up with the same people over and over. Especially in Deathmatch, that gets 0 activity so our forumgoers should run into each other.

yea the few matches i got in the deatmatch arena were the same group of japanese players 3 times in a row.


If everyone has a build that they can use that is pure melee, i don't see why we wouldnt be able to do it. Only thing is if we do happen to get 1 pyro/mage not from the forums in a match is literally will ruin that match. While before it would not have been a big deal.

The DLC glitching is really starting to piss me off. I was really enjoying the arena, but it's a ghost town now.

I'll still be down for some arena death matches if others from the forum are there. Pure melee sounds fair because it has the least impact from the glitching visuals.

As long as we know which platforms we should be standing on I'm sure we'll all get summoned into fights.

well i think there is a way to pretty much know which one to stand on. There is a "sun" to be a point of reference, and there is the blue and yellow/white lights(actually guess i'm not sure they will work).

Saturday sound cool? It might end up being a disaster and not working well, but guess we can try. I'm just worried cause while it is pretty much a ghost town, mages and pyros have stuck around for easy kills. It's pretty funny people go that far for wins. Really what is the fun in just pressing r1, avoiding a few attacks and getting an almost guaranteed kill?

If we have Me, FruitPunchNinja and Vatar5 we still need at least one more person.

I was thinking the easiest way to organize platforms would be to designate the host platform (yellow light) as north and the other 3 as east, south and west. Then we can make sure we're all standing on different ones.

I think this issue is one of the main reasons why both team and death match are so slow to summon. There is always at least one platform that no one stands on so you're waiting for ages until someone does. I know the red rings are supposed to let you know how many people are standing on the various platforms, but it doesn't seem to work very well.

I'm in too, though I won't have my new build ready for then.

Well i can really do any time on saturday, we are from all over the place so the time can be tricky. If anyone has suggestions of whats best for them we can just work off that.

If we have it at the same time as the old FC Saturday events (I think they were at around 8 - 9pm east coast USA) then that is Sunday (10am ish) morning for me. It worked well for me then as long as I didn't drink too much... I'll check back here to see if the rest of you can make it around that time.

I'm fairly easy for time and can get up early my time tomorrow morning if needed. Going out with some friends now, but will check in via my phone to see if we've come up with a time.

I'm on east coast, i also can really do it whenever during the weekend so it just depends on the other people who wanted to join in.
