Favourite bossfights
Personally My 2 favorite bossfights were The great gray wolf Sif and Priscilla. Sif because, what is cooler that a wolf bigger than a house wielding a greatsword twice as long as you are tall? Priscilla because I thought it was awesome that you could still fight her fairly despite her ability to turn COMPLETELY invisible. Was wondering what other people thought though.

Re: Favourite bossfights
I would have probably liked Priscilla a lot if i had fought her earlier. When i fought her i already outgunned her pretty hard and the fight was over quickly.
I loved Sif too! He's (or is it a she? i think i heard it was a she) so awesome and afterwards i felt bad for killing him/her ):

Re: Favourite bossfights
Since every boss fight will eventually get easy my favorites are the ones with tail weapons, because in most cases they keep the fight interesting/dangerous. Even Seath becomes a risky fight at NG+infinity when you go after his tail.
Kalameet is a particularly awesome fight when you want the tail, especially when he isn't cooperating, the fight can take such a long, long time.
For co-op, far-and-away my favorite is still high level 4 Kings though.

Probably because Sif's real world mythological namesake is a she. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sif

Ornstinkle and Smobinkle, no question.
It's the most climactic boss fight of the game. It's just great when three tiny minions are duking it out against two giant golden badassess who are smashing everything in this beautiful cathedral, and then when you fell one the fight gets more intense. It's just perfect.

Re: Favourite bossfights
Sif, because I like to torture the mangy mutt!
The Gaping Dragon, which is excellent for low-level co-op.
The Bed of Chaos, because you never know what you're gonna get.
O&S, 2v1 nuff said
Artorias, because he's damn hard despite what anyone else may think, and beating him makes you feel like a serious arse-kicking dude!
I am yet to try Kalameet or Manus, but suspect that they'll be on my list somewhere.

There is also a Norse god called Balder.
Also, the Balder shield has a picture of a tree. In Norse mythology there is a tree called Yggdrasil. It represents life.
I was reading about Odin, another Norse god, and he is a lot like Logan. Odin is sometimes said to have a big hat covering his face. He went on journeys and made sacrifices just to gain knowledge. Also, both of them are very old.
I think From took a lot of ideas from Norse mythology.
Now something on topic, I like the 4 Kings boss fight. It is fought in the pitch black Abyss. Also, It's fun to see the host die because he forgot the ring.

I would say Ornstein and Smough, Ive never had a particularly difficult time with them past my initial character, but I also liked Artorias and Kalameet.

Re: Favourite bossfights
O&S without any question - epic fight and i will never forgett my first fight against them:
yeah got one down to nearly nothing and the other one i kill now before he kills me again, i have no more estus and co-ops are already dead. YES the fat one is dead now to the samll one.....wait what is that.
OH NO - you are kidding. Why have i nearly killed the small one, if he gets a full HP bar and grows to a Monster hwen killing the fat one...damned.
Lol the Button bash from the fat one looks even funnier, when big Ornstein doe ist....oh it kills me instantly with lightning, when i am too close.
OK next try (hmm getting low on Humantiy), now i will concentrate on one in the first part.
I always try to imagine the face of a host who is doing O&S the first time when i help there - and i love to help at O&S, great Co-Op fight.

The darkness in the 4 kings boss feels so weird. It completely takes away my sense of space. The first time i saw them i couldn't tell whether they were an inch tall or a mile o__o That's actually pretty awesome.

Artorias seem very enjoyable, even though he's pretty tough to beat.
Kalameet can be hard if your going after his tail first. Other than that, Kalameet is fairly easy.

Re: Favourite bossfights
O & S for sure. Probably the best boss music in the game. One of the hardest boss fights in the 'Souls games to solo (if you don't pillar-screw the 2nd half of the fight), comparable to false king. Its place in the storyline makes it awesome too; you're in an area where nobody has survived before, locked in an out-numbered duel for the freaking lordvessel!
It starts off as the rare boss ganking...then, when one of them is downed, they steal the powers of their fallen comrade and the fight doesn't get any easier .
It stays pretty challenging solo too, unlike many other boss fights where once you know the trick/pattern killing them is trivial (even the late-game fights are often easier).

1. Kalameet
2. O&S
3. 4 kings
1&2 because they're always fun fights. 3 b/c it's always intense and stressful. Which is what dark souls is about

Re: Favourite bossfights
I have to say my Faves are 1. Artorias , just cause he hits you like a damn drain and Its Artorias , the guy is a Knight , killed Dragons , has an epic sword and lived in the Abyss. That is a long list of bada$$.
2. Manus the first time I fought him it was infinitely frustrating. I dont think you can ever have too much poise when fighting Manus. Plus his Pursuer barrage is just incredibly lethal. Got one shotted by that a few times .
3. O&S and we all know why. One is a Knight , the other an Executioner. Plus Super Smough is just godly.
