    If anything there should'nt be a Spell that can kill a Player in one Hit .
    Dark Bread is Overpowered no Question .


    Everything else was a Nice addition i think .
    The Weapons are cool (Gold Tracer, Abbys GS, Fork) and Black Flame is a nice addition too .

    I too see LOTS of dark bead users on xbox. It does get old fighting them over and over. But It's not that bad. I fight pretty much the same amount of spear/wog spammers as before the dlc.

    Y'know I predicted this. Not what you're saying, specifically, just the complaining.

    A few months ago, pre-dlc/ pre-nerf, I made a thread stating the following;

    The hornet ring isn't OP. Elementals aren't OP. Nothing is OP in this game it's just that the stronger weps/spells/items that are better at killing are far more common. This gives people the impression that everyones running around using the same gear and people only win fights because they're OP.

    I warned you then that as soon as you nerf something in a game something else will just take it's place as the strongest wep/spell/item and then that will be considered OP.

    People like to complain about things and they're always going to band together and pick the strongest force and say "It doesn't deserve to be that strong because I am not."

    You're missing the point of the OP's post. It's not that there is a feeling of inferiority to an OP spell, but that the spell itself is so powerful it is beginning to harm the diversity of builds one encounters. There really is no need for such a polarizing you vs me, us vs them tone.

    I apologize for the tone then, but I still think my point is perfectly valid in reference to the original post.

    People used to talk about Hornet ring stabbers, havel flippers, and glass cannons. Now we've replaced the first two with this new factor the OP is complaining about. As I said, I predicted this and was told I was wrong at the time.

    Your point is that people are whining over not being strong enough to win. But the point of this thread was in fact to caution against lack of build diversity.

    Sooo basically if I make a thread about BB glitching and people talk about griefing, that's related enough to be fine but if someone says that spells are "Cheap and dirty" it isn't close enough to saying "They're OP"? No problem, man.

    Also, I am level 400, I have 10 attunement slots and can spam dark bead all day if i want to. But then I am part of the problem, and am part of why the game lacks variety. This has nothing to do with power. The DLC is just a disgusting addition to PvP.

    I feel the spell is overpowered, but that is not why i make this thread.
    My disgust comes from how these new, and powerful enough to be considered overpowered spells are released, and everything else is nerfed, which has resulted in me seeing far less build diversity then at any other point in the history of dark souls, without having any appropriate manner in which to counter it, seeing as everything used to combat things considered "cheap" has been reduced in efficiency by at least 40%.

    This DLC disgusts me, it has brought nothing positive to PvP, and only brought negative things in it's wake.

    I think what will be important is to see if this lessens over time as the DLC content gets less fresh. It's possibly just related to the time, which I doubt. But it still is a possibility.

    I invade, and it hasn't really changed much aside from a lot of GT builds. In the arena though, the cheapness really bothers me.

    I'm not disgusted by it bit by any stretch, though I believe some mistakes were made.

    From should maybe offer one last patch to players to tidy up some of the loose ends the DLC left, or, better yet, just start work on a new sequel.

    Overall, I liked what the DLC added to DkS, when accounting for both PvP and PvE.
