eagle shield i think looks really nice

Artorias shield, I like that of all the greatshields, that I can remember anyhow, it's the only one you can actually see over. Plus it's a pretty decent shield, wish it had a little more lightning resistance but it's pretty balanced.

Effigy shield looks bad ***!

Dragon crest shield looks pretty cool

effigy in my opinion is the best looking of all the shields, just look at that thing! and it has some nice res.

i think a lot of people like me go for looks and if youre good enough youre gonna win, not saying that youre not good or dont go for looks, its just an opinion, wouldnt you rather kick butt and look good doing it?

oooooorrrrrr kill someone and have them get embarrassed because some guy wearing armor that makes him look like he weighs 1000 pounds kills you in like 2 hits

you mean kill someone while wearing full havel's or giant's armor? thats the most boring thing you can do imo, i love killing people while wearing nothing but the sack and my machete.

ohhhh, ok. yeah dude, i dont even take them seriously, if they suck which most of them do, i get them to less than 20% health and them play with them forever till i get bored them i go in for the kill. best thing that ca nhapen is if you riposte them and you get hate mail, awesome.

I always liked the wooden plank shield because it reminds me of the stolen fence from maplestory ^ ^

The skull lantern. Yes it actually blocks. It's not very good as a shield though, but it looks cool and brings some light to the dark world of Dark Souls.

I love the lantern for what it does in terms of affecting the gameplay.

First time you go through the Tomb of Giants and have no other light sources (no sunlight maggot or cast light) and you're not familiar with the area's layout and what/ where the mobs are, it's a wholly different experience from the rest of the game! I'm normally a light and agile player, but since I had to alternate between seeing and attacking, and couldn't block and dodging could potentially send me off a cliff, I just packed on the beefiest armor I had and fat-walked the whole Tomb. Then I went somewhere else and resumed my nimble play-style!

So I love the Skull Lantern for being part of what makes Dark Souls such a unique game.

same thing happened to me, knowing nothing about totg, i put on stone armor and walked so damn slow it took me forever to beat it but it was so fun and it felt so good when i finally did.

I too like Shiva's Iron Round shield, looks so cool and fairly unique. Bloodshield looks awesome too, just need to find the right set that it matches.

I like the Tower Shield. I don't know why. Just the black rectangular shape with the feathery emblem. Looks really cool.

Dragon Crest is iconic.

My favs are Iron Round Shield, Dark Hand, and Crest Shield.

Crest is my fav for asthetics and functionality. So many Moonlight GSs and Butterfly Horns these days its a must for me.

If only the Grass Crest Shield didn't have that annoying effect I'd use it for invasions. You can literally see the effect before the game loads the character if you're far enough.

balder looks cool indeed. No love for eagle shield? makes me feel kinda roman
