Darkmoon bow help pls

Hey all,
Any help pls i have the composite bow +10 fire and have G's soul the giant blacksmith has the dark ember but cant get the darkmoon bow any help or suggestions

I believe you must use a standard +10 bow, so you could remove the "fire" on it and upgrade normal way


you also don't need the dark ember

That's ... not how it works.

Spoiler:

1) Get the Large Ember from the Depths and give it to Andre.

2) Tell Andre to reinforce any bow to normal +5, known simply as +5.

3) Tell him to modify it to normal +6.

4) Tell him to reinforce it to normal +10

5) Take the bow +10 to the Giant.

6) Tell the giant to modify it to Darkmoon Bow. You don't need another ember for this step.

Also, the Dark Ember is for Andre.

that didn't work i descended my fire composite bow back to a composite now 5+ but now cant seem to upgrade it to 6+ tried all the blacksmiths and at the bonfires ?????

You have to have given Andre the Large Ember, and then choose "modify equipment" not "reinforce weapon" to go to +6.

Also a divine composite bow with moonlight arrows will out-damage the moonlight bow. The only reason to make one is for the trophy/achievement.

But doesn't the Composite bow suffer from short range issues?


And for the record, the Large Ember is in the Depths near the Butcher's table. Probably already have it, but just in case.

Well yes, perhaps I was a little overzealous with my comment. I was thinking more in terms of PvP. PvE wise the DkM bow has some use I suppose, however for 2 more points in Dex a Divine BBoP will out-damage and out-range DkM bow.

On topic, for just sniping, is it worth upgrade the Pharis (spelling?) bow to +5 devine?
