Dark Souls is a game where your starting class only matters at the very beginning of the game. You are not restricted to certain spells or weapons, so please, level as you like and enjoy the game.

This sort of question probably belongs in the General Discussion forum, or perhaps PvP if you intend to eventually go into PvP.
Truthfully there are no real best attributes when going through the game to level, the only constant is to not level resistance due to how little of an effect it has.
The Wanderer has some Int, and a good deal of Dex. You can level up Int if you wish to add an element of magic to your arsenal without resorting to simply Pyromancy. (Some enemies will be heavily resistant to fire, and some to magic. So different damage types will mean you have magic for the situation)
Endurance and Vitality are typical stats to level up for most builds. A bit of strength can go well too, such as the 14/etc threshold where different Dex weapons become available, like the Great Scythe or Uchigatana.
It really depends on how you want to play your wanderer though.
