I love you Vagrant.

So I'm doing some Darkmoon invasions in Anor Londo, and believe it or not I actually ran into farmers..

Yes it's hard to believe, I know.

So I decide I'm not going to let them kill me easily.

I start running to the horrible archers of death, with Smough Phantom hot on my tail.

I then hit the walkway up to the archers and look what is sitting in the middle of it.

A little red crab.

Some may not know this, but those little guys are mean.

I've been one shotted on my very high level characters by them.

I run by him and Smough starts attacking it, and then he runs away because of the archers.

Now I'm thinking whoever put the Vagrant there is an evil genius.

I've been standing behind the Vagrant for the last 25 minutes..

I will never go down easy...


Literally as I'm typing this, the host just died.

Lol, the guy who put the vagrant there should win an award. Maybe the nobel peace prize.

I'm going to find out his GT..

Track him down...

And...

Give him all my money.

So we could use vagrants as means of defense. Cool suggestion!

How do you put down vagrants? I've only ever seen one, and that was in front of the sunlight altar..

First of all, welcome to the forums.
I'm pretty sure you drop lots of equiptment in one spot? Atleast thats what i heard.

Sorry, I buy baby mushrooms only if I can buy papa mushroom too, and I want blood on its hands.
Crystal lizards are soooo cute I almost feel sorry for them while I crush them to death to get a f***** slab. Almost. A plush would be so cute With a zip on its belly and lots of mini-titanites insides?

Vagrants: The very-heavy-strategy-guide (pre-patch) says the evilness or goodness of the vagrant depends only by the location. But I'm not sure it's correct. I met only 2 of them:

The first time I was in Anor Londo, on the upper level of the great hall, near the broken window. At the time I didn't even know that vagrants existed, so I just beat him to death without looking at it twice. But I now think it was the good one because I killed it in 2-3 swings and it didn't attack me at all. I got an humanity. (while the strategy guide says this location spawns evil ones).
(Edit: I just noticed the wiki doesn't list this location)

The second time I was in the Parish and I saw it near the altar. Unluckily I still hadn't killed the Knight, so as I was fighting the knight the vagrant followed me outside of the church and shot me its evil needles twice, and I was dead. This time I saw it and it was definitely the evil one.


So, uhm, what determines if the player is good or evil? Sin maybe?

That vagrant killed me the first time I encountered the archers. I thought that it would be a smaller threat so I ran past it. As I was attacking the archer on the right, I got one shotted by the vagrant.

the black vagrants have a super homing shot attack that fires like 20 missiles out of the weird black tubes on their back. damage varies based on vagrant strength, also they can attack you with their claws too.

i saw my 1st crabb thingy in new londo it was a good little crap thingy but it had to go the neighbours were complaining

What do you all mean when you say a person "put it there"?

Where should i make a vagrant, i got 99 humanity and like 5 mil, anor londo beams in the painting guardian room, or in blight town on the intended path, somewhere high up?
