Statues of Lordran (and more)

I remember reading in Glyphblades Secret Thread about getting the pictures of the statues and posting them. i looked around a bit and didnt see anything on the forum about this so i decided that i would make it my mission to do so. today i created a photobucket and posted pictures i had taken with my 2008ish non-active camera phone of the statues as well as other things that caught my intrest or were just fun. i will post 2 diffrent links, one for the statues and one for other pictures. i plan to keep posting anything intresting i find and encourage everyone else to do the same.

The four statues with a mother holding her child (you laeled them baby solaire and firelink) are not neccesarily Solaire. I'm assuming by Solaire you mean god of war? If you do lease in future do not assume they are the same. Not everyone agrees with that assessment and it could cause some confusion. Theres also a theory that the statues are actually of the four children of velka (andvelka is the mother). So one is the god of war, one is gwyndolin, one is gwynevere and one is priscilla (probably). Other than that good work, its a good reference tool. maybe get it moved to the archives?

yea, this is my first time posting a topic in the history of my exsistance so i was alittle unsure how to go about it. i will change the text in the photobucket images after this post. thanks for helping me so that everyone can be happy with the pictures. as for moving it to the archives, i would be more then happy to if enough people aggreed on it

There are statues in the hallway leading to the Duke's Archives. There are also the statues of O&S in the beginning of Anor Londo.

i didnt get O&S so ill get on that, but the hallway leading to the Dukes is labeled Fire Maiden, thank you for your help!

Added this to the resources thread, great work Truth. By the way Acidic actually has posted a lot of images in his Visitor Messages, you should check some of those out as well.

ok, in this playthrew ill work on getting pictures of Npcs and there faces. ill try and get the DSB pic Yarxov, but i dont think it will be easy lol.

Just snagged a pic of Siegmeyers face, and fell of the cliff getting Shiva's. His face is...Very odd, he is a very frightening looking man under that helm.

Do broken statues count? I've played this game over 1,100 hours now and JUST NOW NOTICED that the Sunlight Altar has a broken statue of someone holding a Dragonslayer Spear. Man, I can't believe I never noticed that before, I've stood there so many times and looked out over Lordran with my binocs and never noticed what I was practically standing ON.

Guess now I understand why some people suppose Ornstein to be the God of War. This certainly isn't proof of that, but at least now I get it.
