Hi. i have been playing dark souls for some time and recently have been cheking this forum so i decided to join it insteed of only lurking arround it

Hi, my name is del and ive been a lurker for a while. Ive been playing dark souls since the first day, and demons souls before that.

Greetings & salutations folks.

I go by the name KiDisaster and I'm from Kingston, Jamaica though I now reside in the US for university. Got into Dark Souls about a week ago having only played a few minutes of Demon's Souls at a friend's place once and I've quickly become hooked on it. Been a while since I've been this hooked on a game honestly

If you're having problems with finding good PvP then you could ask for a duel on the forum. Most of us would gladly fight you, and maybe teach you some new techniques. We could also agree on rules before we fight. But i'm not on Xbox .

I personally like the BF series more than CoD.
I'm bullshitting you, i've never played a CoD game so how would i know which one's better?

Ahoy! XachAttack here, or Zach if you prefer. I don't have an occupation as of yet but I'm trying to start volunteering at a nearby hospital to get myself used to the working world.

I'm a 19 year old Male and my hobbies are whistling songs, playing games (Mostly this one), creating stories and animating said stories (I haven't gotten to the animation part yet, but someday!).

I've been playing Dark Souls for a few months now, and I'm finally getting into the PVP portion of the game after a LONG time of getting my build together. I enjoy Co-op too, so if anyone needs a lvl 120 anywhere lemmie know and I'll zip to ya! My PSN's HellDragoon5.

I'm so freakin anxious for the DLC to come on consoles that I go nuts just thinking about it.

A friend told me I could sign up for those Fight Club things here as well, which I'de love to get into for experience and good fun.

That's about all I can think of, I hope we get along!

Sounds like some fun hobbies, especially Dark Souls
Be sure to check out the user covenant section, especially Noble Knights since you like Co-op.
Otherwise make sure to join in the fight clubs, they're a great experience with friendly people

Welcome everyone new, I do hope you enjoy your stay. Don't forget to check out the resources thread before asking questions, and of course the wiki. As it will help reduce clutter to just find your answers on those two sources.

You can either look in the threads in the PvP section for help. Or make a new thread, asking for help.
And what would probably help you the most is experience, so ask if someon wants to duel you. You could also join the Gravelord tour, you'll meet lots of people there.

Hey everyone, I only have a few friends who even know what DeS/DaS is so I made an account here for discussion. Uhm, you can call me Spoony if you don't feel like typing out NotoriousKnight. Anyhow, I hope to make a good impact on the community.

If you couldn't tell my playstyle is Heavy Armor and Heavy Hitting. I'm a huge fan of Knights and all you mages can eat it.

I'm on my first play through at SL 69, but I pretty much have 100% completion in the areas I've visited not counting second play through items/boss weapons.

Anywho, maybe one day I'll see some of you during some jolly Bro-operation!

Hello I am DragonZProd or just DZP for short. I hail from the good ol' USA. Still in high school I picked up the game about a month ago since I could finally afford it. I joined in the site for almost the exact same reasons as everyone else to learn what I already haven't. While I still haven't beaten the game (I'm in the Crystal Cave and after having freaked out about the floating part fought Seath and died...) I have tried multiple different ideas (most recently a Darkwraith low level... gosh the four kings are tough at level 15) Anyway I figured I would just go ahead and say hello to everyone.

Hi, I'm Memomo.

I'm 21-years-old and live in Boulder, CO. I'm currently majoring in mathematics, my hobbies include programming, video games and reading philosophy.

I recently worked for Curse, Inc. for the past two years. I helped create over 60 wikis with their company, and created a new position in the company called Wiki Manager. Eventually, I was granted access to their servers and started correcting php errors that were breaking wikis and forums. One and a half years later, I was promoted to Wiki Team Lead, and lead a team of other managers.

During that time, I had the chance to travel and meet game developers such as Ken Rolston and Grant Kirkhope (my favorite)! Sadly, also during that time, I also found the gaming industry to be untrustworthy and very falsified. Such as paying for good reviews of their games and buttering up press as much as possible. Those conventions were never as fun as I expected and I generally always left them with a sour taste in my mouth and a worse view of gaming companies.

I now spend my time doing volunteer work and hiding in my house. I left the gaming industry and my job behind to go back to college, although I hope someday to open a new gaming company that goes against the grain of the rest of the industry and functions alone without tricks and false praise. I suppose it seems possible in my mind!

I don't know what to write about myself besides work that I do because it's usually the only thing I do. Wow, I suck at being personable, lol. I'm going to try to seem more like a human for you. Here's something, I like to watch The Office on Netflix almost constantly and I own a pug named Klaus (I swear this isn't a resume)!

I really wish I could edit certain parts of the wiki that are locked away from me, but aside from that, I've never enjoyed telling people what they can or cannot say. I am a terrible moderator. It looks like the forum just got a bunch of new ones anyways!

I think we have moderators that actually moderate the wiki instead of the forum. You mentioned having people that comb through the wiki searching for false information and what not, while I do it sometimes I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted someone dedicated to doing it. I think we do have a few already but with the PC information and the amount of new editors it wouldn't be a bad idea. I know it would be a lot to ask of someone who just joined though.

And I didn't mean resume in a bad way, I was impressed. It's understanding if you don't want to show too much of yourself to people right away, so don't feel pressured into opening up. It's cool to get to know people and just do what you want.

I could never get into Office. Nearly every episode I've seen I found humorous and I like some of the characters, but for some reason I just can't consistently watch it and I'm unsure why that is. Isn't Will Ferell the new main guy in it now as well? And Pugs are very cute doggies, I have a Rat Terrier myself. Sadly he doesn't have any friends despite how much of a wimpy little dog he is, he'll attack anything.
