I'M A PYROMANIAC =D

All this time I've been using either Strength or Intelligence builds but on a whim I created a pure Pyromancer and...I'm in love! With 10 attunement slots I find that I almost never touch my weapon, and OMG PvP is soooo much fun right now, like seriously my normal fireballs deal 400-500 damage a piece so when I use my Great Chaos fireballs I feel like an anime character lol. Has anyone else done something like this? If not then I urge you to try a pure Pyro build with 10 slots, soooo much fireeee!

I'm on Fire.

Welcome. My first successful character was a full pyromancer, only focusing on pyromancy spells with attunement in mind. I reached to level 60, and went as high as beating chaos and seath. I made a few friends that complimented on my skill with the spells. Sadly I was too afraid on killing nito with lack of light and divine as I was new to the game, and a lack of battling the hydra or going threw the door... pyromancy was not helpful there to me. Still, it was fun as hell.

Good luck, mate. It will be better once you reach NG+ and ++ when you receive 2 or three of each spell.

Whatever you do, don't combustion spam xD I hate that spells insane hitbox.

I approve. I love burning the gankers in the forest. I've actually got 2 tempest and if the first doesn't get them they're usually dumb enough to go for a bs when I cast a 2nd. Burns them to ash. GCF is fun as well and GC is a blast to catch turtles.

I can have all 3 AOEs on me (@level 50), Tempest, firestorm and Chaosstorm, 3 full casts and 3 semi-casts, oh what fun xD

I'm in LOVE with Chaos Pyromancy. The Flames look extraordinary, the lava trails, the symbols of the Flame. Chaos Pyromancy is the most beautiful magic I have ever seen in my life.

@Yarxov I always try not to spam Combustion but some of these dudes just assume Iv'e run out of Pyromancy so they try and rush me. Third degree burns all day baby 8)

@cloudyeki Dude I wish someone turned me on to Pyromancies sooner, their hands down cooler than both Sorceries and Miracles! Ooooo btw you got any good Pyro PvP stories?

@WyrmHero Definitely agree with you on that, I just wish there was a way to get multiples of GCF and Chaos Storm but then PvP would just get silly

Thanks for the dusk crown tip, and does anyone know if dusk crown ring works for Pyromancy?

How is it working in PvE and boos fights?

Use dusk ring. Doubles all your spell atunements. Basically twenty slots.

not twenty. more so 15. If you had 10 slots worth of great fireball, you would have 40. If you had the dusk ring on, you would have 60. It gives 50% more spells to you, for the price of 50% of your health. For a pyromancer, sink in everything towards your vitallity after attunement if you would like to use the dusk ring. Pricey, but successful.

I may also advice for you to use the crystal shield as well, as your pyro flame would give power to the ring shield. The use of light yet defensive armor such as holy, tanterred, or gold helmmed armour would help you in the case. If you go full pyromancy, and elemental weapon would be suffice for you, although should not be too focussed on.

@Wiking PvE is a joke with Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring and Crown of Dusk stacking together. I pretty much kill everything in a matter of seconds :bom:

If you look for an offensive shield.

If getting a defensive shield, try crystallizing and having plenty of balder shields for better stability. As you are fighting enemies with mostly pyromancy it seems to show, having a good defence from attack would help when rolling is not suffice.

I meant this, how would my Flame boost the damage of Crystal Ring Shield? I never heard of that before :suspect:

Look at the link I made. It tells you on the page.

"Damage scales with Right Hand weapon damage and receives a greater bonus from Magic Based weapons in contrast to lightning or raw ones."
