Very Weird PVP...

Invaded as a Darkmoon in the Forest (not the ganking part but the first part) and I was looking for my opponent when I see the familiar glow of a phantom by the Bonfire, I run over to see that the host...and 2 phantoms...have stripped down to nothing but Pyromancer Flames and are gesturing me like it's going out of style...

Curious, I walked closer and gave them the good ol bow and sure enough they just keep on gesturing, I get the hint and throw a few ones in there as well before they all bum rush the hell out of me...and backstab me for no damage using the pyromancer gloves...It's Almost like they were playing a game of Smeer the Queer or something...

I was just kind of laughing at first until one of them used an actual attack on me, then I used WoTG to break up the rumble and took out one of the phantoms, they quickly changed into battle gear and I managed to off another phantom by sheer luck...Then the host retreated to the bonfire, suited up in full armor, bowed to me, and then promptly handed me my *** using what I can only assume was a fully upgraded Lifehunt Scythe...

I almost can't believe it happened...it was surreal...I actually invaded them again and dropped them a copper coin before they handed me my *** a second time.

God I wish more invasions were like that, it really cuts up the monotony.

What about whilst getting invaded in the gank part (only had one phantom with me) 2 guys invade.

We wait...wait...wait...

Get tired of waiting so we go looking and find the two lined up like they were waiting to order something. I bow and so does my partner and we get no response back. At first I thought hmm, maybe a bathroom break? So I kill them.

The same two invade a couple of matches later... and do the same thing...

Is there some kind of joke I am missing here? I actually left one this time and he stayed in the exact same position. I know because I surrounded him with prism stones lol

Those guys are AFK hunters. They park themselves with the ring on and leave the console running. They piggyback on other hunters and collect the rewards without helping. If you see these guys drain them for all their humanity and use acid surge on them.

That's...really stupid, why in gods name would you try so hard to NOT play the game?

Yeah I've had non afk hunters lead me to the afk hunters, let me kill them then dueled me. Those afk guys are d bags

Whats worse is that since they take up an invasion slot they ensure you have no backup
