His tail is always a pain, when I was on my first playthrough..

I usually dont bother cutting off tails an more. Once and no more xD

Though the weapons from tails are actually pretty cool.

I use the weapons I get from any dragons tail x3
I used the drake sword for a long time, by the time I found enough dragon scales to upgrade,
I found a better weapon anyway.
I think the only tail I never cut off is, the dragon cov's.

That thing is a BEAST. Especially in group pvp in the forest.

I think we all used the drake sword if we knew about it haha! Though, any weapon +5 is better than an unupgraded drake sword.

Really? I just went in there, and hacked at it till it died..
I never really thought it had a weakness, I knew someone who
didn't enter the fog yet and used the dragonslayer bow and arrows at it for a
good amount of time

It is indeed hard to cut off.

Though the bosses in right arent really hard. Tail wise Priscilla and Seath take the top spots.

Okay that makes more sense. But generally my point is correct, SL1 runs are possible because FROM made it so. I was just mistaken on the mechanics.

i have a SL 174.. but he already has one and he never uses it. but if you get your toon high enough we can duel!

Capra. With the exception of the Gaping Dragon and Orstein, it's the only boss that has actually been able to kill me.

I figure this thread is a good one to post this in. I just solo'd S&O for the first time and I feel pretty good about it.

Pff, you're not a Sorcerer if you're using the MLGS! Spellsword, maybe, in the most generous sense of the term. Real Mages and Sorcerers depend on their spells, not some broken stun-locking greatsword.

your trying to tell me your sooo pro those are the only bosses that killed you?? you either wiki'd the bosses before fighting or summon phantoms for every boss

But seriously. I would have to say either Ornstien and Smough, The Four Kings, The Centipede Demon, or Gwyn. I only say Gwyn because I have never actually parried him. If you don't, then he is sooooo hard. :affraid:

My first time through the game, when the info available on line was mostly speculation from other people also on their first playthrough, I died soooo many times to O&S. So many. I'd sometimes manage to kill one of them, but I just could not do the fight. I actually threw my controller in frustration, which is not something I do. I used one of my precious humanity to summon a phantom, and we finally beat them. Tears of joy! I spent ages co-oping them after that, just so I could beat them more times than they had beaten me.

Now it's Capra's tiny room and the Stray Demon.

^Are you talking about when you're a phantom or solo? I don't think I've ever had that issue solo, but it happens all the time when I'm helping people. As a phantom I also get a lot of teleporting from Sif, and a couple glitches from the Kings (one spawns way the hell away, the disappears and re-spawns right next to me, then disappears again!).

yea ive noticed that.. hah it gets annoying but sometimes a life saver. not that it matters as a sunbro i dont lose anything

Capra Demon made me throw my controller for the first time ever. And I've had my Xbox since 2008. Capra Demon + dogs had me over the edge.
