New Gamertag

Recently I've been wanting to change my GT in light of the fact that my current one, Menace238769, sounds like something a 12 year old would think up (and in my defense, I was indeed 12 when I made it). I tried BartholomewWenceslas, but xbox only allows for 15 characters... Normally I'd consider myself to be a pretty creative person but when it comes to making screen names, I fail.

So now I ask you, help me to come up with a new gamertag so I can stop feeling embarrassed to tell it to people. I would offer up some sort of reward in game for one I end up picking, but I have barely anything of value plus I'm on xbox, where as a majority of this forum is on PS3. I can always offer +rep to any that I like though

Hmm I feel your pain; I want to change mine as well. I thought mine up when I was 12 as well but mine just does not fit me. I'm considering changing it to Paladin Ryan due to paladin being my character in almost every game and Ryan being my name. Not much creativity there but it would fit me. Do you have a particular type of character or style you favor? Perhaps you could base your name off of that.

I tend to go the mage route in most games that I play and I do like yours, Revan, but I'm not so sure something along those lines would suit me very well :|

^In all honesty, I have no idea where I came up with this one from. The numbers I know, 23 is my favorite number, and 8769 was my random number sequence back then, but I don't know what possessed me to go with "Menace"

Hmm do you want one based around the mage thing? I'm just trying to find something to work with; creating names out of thin air is too creative for me.

I had it as the gamer tag for my offline account for such a long time, then got bored of my online GT so changed it to that

Keeps it unique, suits me well, and makes strangers laugh so it's good with me

That's the exact problem that I have sunlight, I can't create names out of thin air

I'm quite happy with my XBox gamertag but if I wasn't I could change it. Unlike my PSN Id which I hate, loathe and detest. You know how it is, new console, you want to get going and use the damn thing asap but first you've got to fill in all these forms and then it asks you the $64,000 question, it wants a name. So you sit there wracking your brains for something funky, distinctive and clever and your mind is an absolute blank, so in desperation you make something up. Well that's what I did and I've regretted it ever since and if I want to change it, I'll lose all my trophy records etc. It sucks and I think Sony should do something about it.

Rant over, sorry about that. As for a new gamertag for whoever it was that wanted one. I'm sitting here wracking my brains on your behalf but, you know what, my mind is an absolute blank as usual.

Silent Comedy - or Silent Wenceslas - Because the people who made the song Bartholomew were called Silent Comedy and that was the song that played in one of the DkS Trailers

Ah that sucks, what name is it that you regret putting as your PSN?
