50 invading duels in the burg... 1 win. Oh yeah.

Not good, but was this one of your first tries in the Burg? If so, keep at it, you'll certainly improve.

Nope. I actually started in the burg. I had like a .3 w/l ratio. Then I did a bunch of invading in blight town, and I mean A LOT, and now I just suck. I think it's because there's a crazy amount of Uchi users and I can't roll-bs these people. Or bs them at all, but they bs me all the time... Wtf.

PS: I have no idea why people complain about the BKGA. I now officially despise the washing pole.

Are you sure those are Uchis? Washing Poles are the real problem, and, yes, the Burg is infested with WP users.

Uchi's, Iato's, Washing Poles, Chaos Swords. All of those are what I see 90% of the time.

That's just the nature of the beast, you learn to adjust. Or, if not, you can go elsewhere. There's the forest, Blighttown, Sen's Fortress, Anor Londo, the Parish, the Kiln, etc... So if you find the Burg not to your liking you can easily pick up your stuff and leave.

LOL at least you know how to roll bs. Although I don't use it in duels, my winning ratio is good. Maybe try to not focus on roll bs Dex weapons? For kats try using a spear, it's *** good against them.

G. Halberd is just failing me or something something something. And I get backstabbed as I hit them. They're in front of me, and I HIT THEM, then they lagstab me.

I hate katanas. They are overused and just generally annoying. I personally tend to use straight swords, greatswords, or thrusting swords. Of course thats just me and I'm not that good so...

What Wyrm says, spears are the perfect counter to katanas. Consider getting one. Also, you're probably getting backstabbed with your G. Halberd a lot because of the stagger frames that it suffers.

Like I said, I hit them. No stagger frame at all. I got damage on them, too. When I hit, it's the same speed as a spear.

Correction: Same RECOVERY speed as a spear. A spear can attack multiple times much faster...

If you're hitting them and still getting BS then I blame lag on that. That's the game's fault.

And, yeah, if you got it, scorch some fools with your pyro. No reason not to.

Try using the ridiculous sprint R1. It's really unpredictable. The shield + attack turtle combo is good too.

And I'll probably do better now that I remember that I have 2 casts of tempest and two casts of gc.. I had been using my gf, but that's it.

You could have roll bs him. When I use my Str weapons at the Burg I always get roll bsed.
