Re: The Followers of Izalith: Thread 2
It was such a teeny tiny part of the book series, it doesn't really matter much. It's just this one little group of people the main character hung around with, and they would give him food in order to make it so they would suffer. He left them after a few weeks, and it was a very brief part of the story.Chaos Spectre wrote:@Joe
I have no read forgotten realms, nor heard of the cult. I used to play DnD under forgotten realms setting, but never ran into them.
As the world gets bigger, originality becomes a hard trait to achieve I guess.
I have no idea why I remember it.

Probably cause its fun to remember the small things lol.
Yeah, I'm horrible at trying to read a book though. I can read, I actually read a lot, but I just can't focus in on books.

More of articles. I read a lot of news normally. I discovered I can read books, but only if its on my phone. Otherwise, nope. Which, its normally a pain to find some of the books i actually want to read on phone, nonetheless get motivation to pay for them.

It's easier to torrent books and put them on your phone than to buy them. Just torrent them, then upload them to your phone, and read on a kindle app or something like it!Chaos Spectre wrote:More of articles. I read a lot of news normally. Also, I like physical books better. Makes me feel like I'm not staring at a screen all day...

But I like staring at a screen all day lol.
And I'll probably do that. Hopefully get all the books I want before the 28th of november when the CAS goes live.

Hey, rooster, I need to back out of the battle. My work has me working almost 15 hours alone all weekend, so I can't participate. I've been working all week, so I couldn't make a build. If things change, I'll let ya know.

Oh if anyone understands, its me! Working on 82 hours in last 7 days, lucky to have some of this weekend off. Thanks for letting me know too! I really appreciate that, most dont bother and it makes things a pain.

It happens. I work 12 hour shifts, and have one long week (about 60 hours) and one short week (about 24). Thing is, I have all this extra stuff that happens on top of the regular hours. For two weeks every 2 months I'm on call, if they need me I work more 12 hour shifts, we have court that we have to attend for things and then work when on call (theres bench trials, preliminary hearings, pre-trial confrences, jury trials, family court), thats what every officer does. Then on top of that I'm an instructor, so every so often I train new guys etc, also on Swat, so we train anywhere from 4 hours in a day once a week to a 16 hour day or an actual operation, which can be anywhere from 2 hours to 20 (hit 20 once since I've been here). Sooooo yeah, I need a job that pays better and works less.
