I agree punch, they both look awful, I love the look of havel's chain fists and giants helm is really ironic being so unused by guys who prefer masks to completing the full giants set.

I forgot about the giant's helm, that thing is cool. Love the mohawk look.

It looks like an Ancient Greek helm, it's awesome.

Sorry but Rant is right, the best looking heavy armor is Black Iron gear IMO

on a second thought, anyone noticed that the Steel chest is very good looking? I know stats sucks, but man thats one good piece of armor!

steel armor does not suck, have you upgraded that thing, it right up there in phys d as black iron and more magic res too. but iron has 60 poise and black iron has 78 i thnk.

Hmm the only problem seems to be Poise:
Black Iron chest
Black Iron set
Steel chest
Steel set

Yeah not bad, but black Iron can save my *** in some builds:
51 poise
67 poise

I'm testing the build, still at SL 113. I'm using a occult Gargoyle Halberd as back up when the DMB runs out. I'm doing about 400 damage per hit. I switched to Golem Armor which looks amazing with the mom mask, not bad at all. I'm still undecided whether go with +53 poise or stay at 40 poise.

Ok I realized how much I hate halberds, I just can't master them no matter how hard I practice. So I'm going with my love at first sight Great Scythe as back up, 2012 HP lol!!!! 45 poise is enough for me when I use Dex weapons. I equipped her with occult things and the dark themed armor to complement with the mask, looks cool. Behold the occult samurai/paladin of Pinwheel!!!!

I like the build, it reminds me a bit of my 120 DM. Personally I think the eastern chest with the Bandit headgear fits "Samurai" a bit better, but that's just me. DMB washing pole is a nasty, nasty weapon by the way, and that HP gives you a real advantage. The BKH looks a lot like a bisento imo, I would try to work it for a samurai build but if you're going for faith you can't really fit it in. Occult GS is another tricky one to fight, that can really mix up your opponents.

Now that I come to think of it, this is a really really strong build. I'd hate to have to fight you, that's for sure!

Edit: I think maybe the Channeler's waistcloth and gauntlets could fit a samurai, they look like a mix of cloth and the painted steel armor Samurai wore.

Oh yeah I'm playing with right now at the Burg and it's a monster. They try to roll bs me and I just laugh.
