Here is what they are.
1: Use a green blossom.
2: Wait five seconds before using a blossom, to see if your opponent will use pyromancy... use Flash Sweat instead.

It works with a spear, and a few other weapons.

I haven´t gotten used to blossoms yet.

You need to try stunning someone with it.

The problem is that they have time to dodge, unless i´m using a really fast weapon, like a spear.
If they have their shield up when i roar, then the animation is longer and i have time to hit them, with almost any weapon.

And? The buff lasts 10 seconds... that's what you need the green grass for. Noone in their right mind is going to get near you during the roar, and you can keep the roars damage boost up indefinitely if you try hard enough. it's a 35% boost if you are a covenant member.

It's like permanently having a Power Within on.
you're not using a rapier/dagger, so this won't matter to ya, but if your weapon gives boosted crit damage, unlike PW and Weapon Buffs, the Dragon Roar will effect those: as this increases your physical AR.

I know. I have a "trick" where i roar and then i BS them, while they´re staggered. It´s hard to land and i only do it against healers/other "unhonorable" players.
For some reason it seems to do more damage than a HR BS. I might just be imagining things though.

If you're getting the backstab during a stagger, then you're getting a glitched backstab that does the same damage as a riposte normally would.

That must be why they do so much damage.

Eeeeyup. A Glitched "Riposte backstab" is just a bit weaker then a hornet ring backstab: with the roar boost it would be far stronger then the hornet ring.

I need to practice using it then. As it is now i manage to land it only 30% of the time.

Just be careful not to become what you fight.
Perhaps you'll be a better fighter then i, in that regard.

I only use it against healers, glichers, gankers, grievers and really annoying BS fishers.
